Dejong is worried, and he should be. I have no issue with him any longer. If he wants to step up, then good. If not, then he should stay on the bench. We got enough midfielders now.

Frankie isn’t a high intensity player and that’s simply it… even that challenge on his shin I was hoping this isn’t another injury… but when Frankie is playing in spaces he is brilliant…. I don’t think Frankie and Fermine should be on without someone like Gavi or Casado

As good as our midfield is… Olmo is physically susceptible to injury. So is pedri. FDJ is nowhere near 100% & Gavi is just coming back… We need the cushion that we have right now. The way I see it, the game time will be very evenly spread among the lot. I don't think there is any chance of someone not getting enough opportunity. I'd be inclined to agree… That our best mid is pedri with casado and Olmo up front. A close second for me would be Casado and and gavi with Pedri up front. And a third would be pedri and gavi with Olmo up front… Unfortunately, I don't see FDJ getting into these combos in his current state. Different story once he is fully fit.
The fact that we are complaining even when we are winning 3-1 speak volumes of how much we have changed in terms of expecting as compared to recent seasons. It is a good problem but it need to address soon especially on the midfield combination.
We need to learn how to cherish Hansi Flick man, look at Bayern right now they are already missing him.
Can we talk about Olmo that made lamine yamal frustrate 2 times. Lamine had 2 times an open goal but olmo didnt passed because he wanted his hattrick. I do think it was a mistake of olmo because barca is strong as a team not individual.
Imagine a midfield of gavi, casado and fermin 💀, that wouldnt be really technical but from the intensity… would be crazy
anyone who thinks gavi should play over casado is fuckin stupid, Casado is the most important player in midfield
I think De Jong plays better with Olmo at the 10 and Fermin plays better with Pedri at the 8. Pedri, Olmo and Gavi are synergistic with every option
I've always criticised Frankie for not sending long passes when strikers make runs, these are the few details that makes Cassado stands out and it has given Barca some cheat codes. Those surprise long passes by Cassado. Frankie must not allow his players to waste energy in making runs and he doesn't releases these long passes. He has the vision , those short triangular passes has been decoded by many teams. Raphina should be allowed to keep doing what he's doing he's gonna get good by every game.

Gavi and Casado playing together has the same limitations as Pedri and FDJ playing together

Simply disagree that Frenkie played a bad game. Like the in the clasico, he brought control to the game, and maybe it slowed a bit because Pedri was getting tired. Frenkie was distributing the ball well and calm, and maybe Fermin limited the options and the cleverness that Olmo has in his game – which then limited Frenkie.
No, Frenkie wasnt amazing. But he wasnt bad. He wast just allowed to be as good.
In the second half before he came on, things had already got out of control in the game.
Lets give Frenkie some credit instead of critizing him unfairly
It's funny how frenkie is the oldest midfielder in our midfield, But he's the one who needs babysitting to flourish

The only bad combination will be De Jong and Pedri but the rest will be perfect and 🔥

Casado and Gavi can work but with Pedri playing 10 because you still will need a player that can dictate the game. Olmo is not that type. I would also love to see that combo of Gavi and Casado especially against a team like Real Madrid 😂
I think Flick needs to rest some players like Yamal or Raphinha.. Hector Fort is solid as sub for Kounde we saw that last game Gerard Martin is our only weak link on the team

one thing we should never ever see again is to play Pedri together with Frankie, that a formula for a disaster, both are players who like to create more than anything, so the defensive part of the game will be none existing. another duo that should never be on the same pitch. is Ansu and Yamal, another one is Olmo and Lopez.
to make that midfield work with all,
the best for now is Pedri-Cassado-OLmo but we can make alternatives as follows:
Frankie-Cassado-Olmo
Pedri-Cassado-Lopez
Frankie-Gavi-Olmo (when should we rest Cassado)

Gavi-Cassado-Dejong this can work for low teams

it’s so sad to see frankie playing this way. he was such a huge talent when we signed him and i hate see this drop off from him. i was sure he was going to be one of the successors to that iniesta, xavi and busi midfield
i do think to start each game olmo pedri and casado are the perfect trio
in terms of having to rest the other 2, gavi and frenkie do make me excited
