    Excitement is always there with new signings. It’s a box-office like feeling, you only get one debut. It’s an anticipation, and we got to feel that once again with Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui. The two got their debut against Fulham, and they did not disappoint. We even got to see De Ligt, but he didn’t feature for long, so we’ve still got a lot to look forward to with that one. The game finished 1-0 in our favour, and that’s thanks to huge contributions from the two new signings. Unsurprisingly, we’ve got ourselves two good ones.       Mazraoui has 10 career appearances as a LB, Dalot has 40. If you thought Mazraoui was making his debut on the left, I don't know what to tell you 🤷🏻‍♂️

      Speaking of AWB and Mazraoui, it struck me how it took Mazraoui's quality to show the fan base just how much we have been missing in the right back position with AWB playing there. Mazraoui so thoroughly slapped down each and every criticism leveled against the sale of AWB, that fans went from "the club is making a mistake" to "Aaron who?" by the end of the first half 😂…

      Mazraoui looks like an upgrade on AWB but he's only played 1 game so let's not get too excited. Promising start, looked at home can play with either foot. Excited to see his progresion under ETH and in the team. Zirkzee deffo looked short of match fitness so i'm hoping we may have a couple of behind closed doors games to improve fitness levels. He looked tidy on the ball, likes to link play and a backside on him bigger than Luke Shaw! 😂For a big lad he gonna be tough to handle. Looking forward to seeing what he will be like when fully up to speed. But i'm most excited about De Ligt. Can't wait for him to get fully intergrated into the first team and become a regular starter along side Licha

      Two more players that know how Erik plays.
      Once we get to the point where most of the players understand the Ajax style, the rest will follow.
      The ex Ajax players will be in the dressing room telling the rest, Erik is a genius, you don't need to understand, just follow.

      Congrats to zirkzee on his debut. I’m Nigerian and zirkzee is Nigerian too but is he the kind of striker that can give you 20 goals a season. I don’t think, reason is he doesn’t play much in the box and doesn’t have a killer instinct as well. I may be wrong.

      Everyone talking about how Mazraoui is an upgrade on AWB, but it should also be noted that he's a massive upgrade on fan favourite Dalot. I think Dalot is a decent squad player, especially because he can play left and right, but how many top teams would want him starting? Glad we've finally signed a decent RB – I imagine Dalot will soon lose his spot in the team when the LBs are fit

      TalkSport don't care about football, they care about clicks. When ARS were generating clicks like crazy, TalkSport was constantly talking about ARS. Now, MU is generating clicks, so they talk about it non stop, even if it's nonsense.

      Mazraoui had a great performance in the first game. But my concerns are Doku mitoma and any other winger that’s really going to test he’s defensive ability

      The more games these new guys get under their belt the better. United need them to be as used to the pace of Premier League asap. At least EtH has worked with them and is well placed to prepare them along with the Dutch contingent.

      I feel United probably need another fullback given Shaw's dismal record with injuries.

      Zirkzee can give us what mctominay does finding a goal but also can dribble pass and link up play better than mctominay and is taller to boot.

      Mega impressed wth both Zirkzee and Mazraoui and i think there will be more to come from both of them. Oh yea for the record i dont think many will be surprised at Mazraoui starting on the right wth Dalot on the left. He was literally considered one of the best RBs in the world at one point. Why would he play at LB.

      Uve changed ur mind?…. U said ten hags substitutions didn't bring any change to our style of play… To now saying bringing on zirkzee and garnacho was a clear tactical shift???

      Her might not get 20 goals in epl …but we have another creative player that allowed ppl like rashford and granacho score goals… but he will score goals he you watch the goal against fulham, he has the poacher instinct and it would develope more ..that run into the box for the cross we missed that

      AWB fan not afraid to admit it: Mazraoui was very impressive, looked safe – no nerves, great decision making, covering, passing, positioning, even -ta daaaa – a last gasp tackle: a step up!..if he does not get injured, as so many recruits over recent years have. Zirkzee – scored, so all must shut up tbh. Looks a different option up front, at last. But yes, as pointed out, the next few games all look like stronger challenges to enable a true bedding-in and assessment of the all-new-super-improved-formula UTD.

      Barring injury if this backline of Mazraoui DeLigt Martinez and Dalot play together for the next one or two season we will have an awesome back line. If Shaw returns it will be better but I don’t have high hopes for LB position because of his injury record

      So excited to see these players grow my honest opinion is I think if hojlund stays fit he will get 20 plus in all comps this year but while I'm super excited about zirzkee I think the fans really need to be patient with this boy and they need to understand he will frustrate the fans at times but its just the way he is he almost has a berbatov feel about him few tricks flicks dropping deep but mark my words he will have plenty of special moments in a united shirt he just too talented not to. Really hope wee keep scotty he is a great player for others to see how to behave he is united at heart and I think he is a player that will be happy to get game time when he can without causing drama and he most certainly can get you a goal. If Antony can find his ajac form and van nestlerooy gets rashford back to the player he once was with mainoo being mainoo then I see this united team going far. And say what you want about ten hag but behind pep there isn't a more successful manager in the prem since he joined united (that includes the "great" klopp the up and coming next pep arteta and the rest. GGMU ❤❤❤

      A good shout for MOTM in that game was Maguire. I am a big critic of his, but if I am quick to criticise, then I have to be as quick if not quicker to praise him when it's due. He was very good in that opening game against Fulham.
