Spoiler alert: Southgate won’t win Euro 24.
England won't win the Euro 2024, Gareth Southgate is not tactically competent enough and England aren't good enough.
Southgate probably had two of the best opportunities any England manager is going to have at winning a major trophy and in both occasions he failed to deliver. He has no chance in 2024 of winning anything!

All the major European clubs are obviously clamouring for Southgate to manage them, we should all be forever grateful for him staying on and managing our team guys
That won’t happen
No doubt, when England ( as expected ) qualifies for EURO 24 with the minimum of fuss, the blinkered old fart's at the FA will reward Southgate with another of those extended contracts to next WC, simply for being uncontroversial, comfortable with the media and friendly with his playing staff. Being tactically good enough to make an England side win trophies is of secondary importance.
