  1. Its good to consider what we know and what we think. If we settle for too many draws we cannot go up? And does Farke decide before or during a game what he will settle for?
Concerned about Solomon, his injury record was a concern, if he was who we need him to be arguably spurs wouldnt have loaned him?
What does seem to be happening is when we pass it around its to the player who is stationary which gives the marker time to move in, rather than into space to run onto with some gained movement. It becomes very telegraphed and predictable. I think thats one reason Bielsa wanted constant movement?

  2. Main problem is, fans thinking they know better. ( spoiler…. They don’t.). Since Bielsa, every fan thinks each new coach has to play like Bielsa. ( Wasn’t ever going to happen.). Tactically, we are a possession and control team. I’ve ignored all content on YT since the game , knowing full well what would be said and who would be blamed and/or defended. We will be fine, we will NOT win all the time, we will lose the odd game. So like you, I believe we have no tactical problems as a squad. 💙💛🤍

  3. Will we allow Sunderland to become the new Ipswich this season? We're not historically a good front runner, though we have had our moments. Bielsa second season, Wilkinson's top flight winners and Revie's 1974 top flight winners. You're right, we do drop points fairly easily under Farke.

  4. Farke winds up the fans with his late substitutions and the occasional perceived lack of a plan or reasoning for those subs. The possession based football is obviously drilled into the players by Farke. So in order to implement his orders the players think they would rather pass sideways and back rather than the fear of losing possession by a surge forward or penetrating pass. Farke quotes % possession and xG at the end of each match as if that is his KPI.
