It’s a goal, not sure why people are desperately trying to find a reason to disallow it. Barely any contact with the GK, we see it every game and he wasn’t in his line of sight either.
PGMOL sent out their memo, Talksport are aligned with Skysports. Damage limitation is in full swing
Not one to argue decisions often because I find it’s a lost cause but what’s then deemed the threshold of bumping into keepers before every corner now? Can guarantee you if every team does that next week there would be more fouls given to the keeper than not.
Great win for City. Never hear any criticism about Liverpool in such matters from talksports, bbc, espn and co
ASSNal doing worst than that to the goalies and No one is calling them many goals they scored but no media talking about it.
This Wolves never plays this way IN front any club But man city. they got wht they deserve even IMO The drew is the write fair score according to the way the math looked.
Saw the Wolves one last night on MotD2. To be fair to Gary it’s not the same as they had someone in front of the keepers eyesight , but the keeper would never have saved the goal and for me it sotos have stood.
▪︎PL – Accuse,Malign City
▪︎City – take PL to Court
▪︎Court – PL Rules are Unlawful
▪︎PL – desperately trying to stop City?😂
It's a goal, if you think it wasn't then stick to playing FIFA
Every decision is being criticized. The media is creating controversies for clicks. Maybe because the actual games aren't that great?
Because of Bernardo 's proximity to the keeper. Same explanation the PGMOL had for disallowing the Wolves goal last season. Completely the same.
Arsenal should have 6 less points if thats a foul.. How many corner kick goals has Arsenal scored since last season? All ate fouls then
The corruption in the Premier League runs much deeper than miny city and the PGMOL , get off your knees guys and wipe your chins clean.
Everyone mentioning Arsenal need to get a life and have a word with themsleves ffs 😂
Noone in their right mind is saying its a foul on the GK…..
But if standing in an offside position, less than a metre away from the GK isnt 'interfering with play' then why do we see so many goals disallowed in very similar circumstances!?
Also…Ok… lets say Saliba's a nailed on red card….why isnt Tosin's challenge also a red?
The reason EVERYONE is crying about EVERY right now decision is due to the fact that noone has the slightest idea what the refs are going to do (including the refs themselves!)
The inconsistencies in the refereeing procedures are ruining the integrity of football and not one referee including the head of referees Howard Webb are accountable in any way.
Arsenal mutants just wanted to cry to hide their own team’s mediocre ways 😂
That man city goal was clever obviously man city have ref on board, and they told the player to bend knees so not in eyeline and give the goalkeeper less contact, and the goal will count. it's a loophole as we all no club talk to ref to gain advantage
Serves Wolves right for parking the bus. This was a great decision for football
It doesn't matter how small a nudge it was from Silva. The bottomline is he was in a offside position and he interfered with the play by interrupting Sa's movement. That's all that matters.
Theres nothing controversial about this goal, the media in their hatred for City have really stoked the fire and gullible fans are believing it.
People are sick of watching city win 😂😂now they want to disallow clear cut goals
Its a perfect goal unless your a Arsenal fan
What about the bolly hand ball goal against man city short memory some people…….
What if he was 6 foot
An Offside player prevented the keeper from being able to come out and play the ball. As a result Stones unchallenged was able to head the ball.
Talk sport – Sky ….paid for and exist at the behest of the Premier League …….they tell you what you see ….just think about that .
City fans should be more concerned about struggling to beat a team propping up the table.
If Wolves thinks this then then should WANT var bc it can correct those split second “biased” decisions
What or who were they talking about at the end? She was about to say it or who but was cut off
Nothing wrong with that City goal ……. Silva had moved away from the Wolves keeper BEFORE John Stones headed it in.
Arsenal do it more aggressively on corners and no one has mentioned it being an issue
Its a poor comment by O'Niel, all the wolves thought it was a legit goal before the linesman raised his flag. Now he's acting all victim.
1. You can't be offside from a corner
2. Bernardo's position only becomes significant AFTER John Stones heads it. He wasn't blocking the keeper's view
So it's a legit goal. Not difficult to understand.
Goal all day long, Bernardo nowhere near the keeper and crouching down when JS heads the ball, the wolves keeper has a clear view of it, the reason he gets nowhere near it is because it’s such a brilliant header. Pity the same fuss wasn’t made about arsenals second goal at the recent fixture at the Etihad, when 2 players blatantly lean into Ederson preventing him from getting to the ball, allowing someone else to head it in. Dark arts goners, dirty devious snidey bastards, thought I was watching Revie’s Leeds team of the 1970’s, and not a thing said, yet all we ever hear is Arsenal whingeing about their “misfortune” oh the irony.
I'm a Wolves fan and yes it's a goal, however had we scored this goal in the last minute you can bet your house the subjective refs decision would have disallowed it. Happens with such regularity to suggest thier is not unconciouse bias is asking us to disbelieve the evidence of our own eyes. It's always been the case but we're upset because in the last few seasons because of VAR it's become far easier to see.
