I really don't know why we are being forced to picked between the two midfielders here, it has to come down to who is the best for the team in the circumstances of that particular game surely, A pround Ange Sympathiser..COYS!!
When a Midfielder is playing like he is the CF, not playing both sides of the pitch, and not setting up plays, he is a liability to the team. Ange world class manager saw this instantly made a change put Sarr in who plays hard and both sides of pitch, game instantly changed 2nd half. Selfish style of playing is a huge problem ovrrall to whole team, main reason the National team cuts such players as well.
As an Aussie SPURS supporter (COYS). Big Ange managed my local team Brisbane Roar. Seen this before. Taking off Madison is a statement to rest of players and staff. Who takes off the VC who is playing well.
Strength and depth! Everyone is in the team and can be rotated as and when required.
When all players are fit: there's no depth. Two at 9, 6, RB. Four LW: and the rest of the team, there's no cover. If playing 4-3-3, your two 10's are playing, and theres no watching. 4-2-3-1, you get a little depth, where Bergvall can play in a double pivot, behind Sarr.
Should drop bentancur. Wow bissouma and sarr are amazing together.

Bissouma shoudl take numer 6 and then Maddison and Sarr should be rotated. Some matches Maddison is the best in the league.
At other times sarr and bissouma are the top partnership in centre mid. No one cans top us.
Maddison can also play on wings if son injured or needs a rest.
I would also like to see more of moore.

Deki is playing well but we all know James Maddison is quality.
Don't let that substitution fool you into forgetting what Madders does for the Team😂. He doesn't need to be dropped.
If there is a problem – Maddison is not it. I think he's been playing well.
He can be ideally be subbed off when we need to preserve a lead in the second half or when he's having a bad game. He didn't have a bad game when he was subbed off.
Him and Kulu compliment each other well. Our midfield is really shaping up nicely.
Don't know why such a big deal is being made of this.

It was a one of tactical switch that happened to work for that particular match.
Finally an instance of Ange actually making an adjustment of tactics to match rhe team he is playing and it worked. Good managers do this every match yet we are all shook up because Ange did it once and made a difference.
Shouldn't be so dramatic only at Spurs.
The reason why Maddison doesn't make the National team is the same reason why we shouldn't have him in the squad. He's lazy, selfish, and why is he kicking all the corners and free kicks? Maddison doesn't need more confidence. He needs some humbling down. Maddison's corners are sure to be a waste and they're such downers.

I think Madders has been doing everything right. its just not just the right balance playing two Attacking midfielders,Kulusevski cant be dropped however, Its a great headache for Ange and I'd love to see how he'll handle that midfield situation.
