If this match was adjudicated by 100 judges who are and/or were actual boxers or fighters, it could have gone 7-5 either way BUT with the edge to Bivol because of the pure mathematical statistics of the fight. Part of the problem with this sport that we all love, is that there MUST be new rules implemented that mandate mathematical conclusions (OBJECTIVE) and analytical observational conclusions (SUBJECTIVE) as separately evaluations with numerical weighting scales attached to the subjective factors. In this way, there will be no dispute as to the winner of such close fights bc math and science cannot be disputed unless the person disputing is a low IQ idiot, in which case such subjective claims do not matter. It was a close fight for sure, BUT when you analyze the actual stats, it is obvious who should be declared winner. It is what it is at the present state of professional boxing.
