      Great goals but the defenders is ridiculously poor. So much ball watching, let runners through without tracking etc. Awful defending when they know Messi is right there?

      In 2022, Messi achieved what Maradona did in 1986: leading his team to win the World Cup, but on top of that, he also led his team to win TWO consecutive Copa Américas and he had a longer career and more illustrious career. He certainly surpassed Maradon. Now, Gatti, Menotti, Basile, Perfumo, Buchinno and Forlan saw Messi and Maradona play and PLAYED against Pelé, and for them, Pelé has no comparison. I repeat: Gatti, Menotti, Basile, Perfumo, Buchinno and Forlan consider Pelé the best in history. For me, the most objective opinion is that Messi belongs to the Holy Trinity of universal football: Pelé, Messi, Maradona. In that order.

      This why he's one of the greatest players of all time. The man could play on the wings, score goals as CF, and can play in those attacking midfield roles and pick out a pass. Also, before those hamstring injuries, he was a menace when he was on the press. People tend to forget that part too.

      Messi is just on a different level to the Saudi wannabe, and you just see his effort FOR the team, rather then he demand the team play for him, he is instrumental all over the field, and his impact at Miami, along with Suarez, Alba and co is just awesome to watch. only one goat of this generation, and he is from Argentina

      Messi will definitely also reach 900 goals 🐐 him and Ronaldo have both giving football so much joy but when it all comes down to who is best Messi properly takes the crown but imo Ronaldo is number 2 Pelé number 3 Maradona number 4 and from 5-10 it very close between brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane, Cruyff, Ronaldinho and 5-6 others but top 4 is should be clear to everybody
