Natural reaction when falling backwards is to tilt your head forward to regain balance. Tilting your head back is only to further flip yourself backwards. Whittaker's movements on the floor were not of an injured man. The ref delayed their fall/ allowed them to adjust themselves for a safer landing. We saw no show boating, we saw facial reactions that resonated an unexpected night. No way could he have casually raised a leg and rested it so high up against the ropes if he had a back or ankle injury. Such movement would cause more pain

It’s hard not to believe Ben took a way out. Lost control after round 2. Was gassed & lost power in his shots. Being walked down, caught a lot by Liam. Maybes Ben started out too fast, trying to impress.
Then looking at the footage falling out of the ring, it doesn’t look like an injury was caused to his foot.
With him being silent on all social media as well. Be interesting to see if he will take a rematch with Liam immediately. If not, this will confirm he looked for a way out.

He quit, theres no debate. Anyone with eyes to see can see he quit. Flung his head back like the spirit of ike Turner pulled his hair thinking it was Tina, then tried to wwe suplex Cameron out the ring like triple H. Frazer Clarke got his cheekbone, jaw broke and walked out the ring, quittaker quit then left in a wheelchair.
Whittaker has injured his image and ego, perhaps beyond repair, yet somehow I think his ankle will be just fine!
