Manchester City have sold Julian Alvarez for €75million, leaving Pep Guardiola without a back-up striker.
So, do City need to sign another forward?
JJ Bull doesn’t think so… 🧠

chelsea struggling to find a competent striker, honestly wish we had this problem
What would your next move be in the transfer market for Man City?
Memphis Depay?
Musiala?
Mkhitaryan looks nice
Will Gundo be a good fit?
Oh that's why they want gundogan back
It could be gunduan because he could come back
Hi Fran, Is Foden going to start in GW2, if so I might bring him in for Son (I have Solanke too).
Gundooooooooo
Musiala
Man city might have money. But they aren't stupid like chelsea
Gundogan back
That's why they bought gundo
I was really shocked when the news broke that Julian left. It made me a little worried about our depth in that position.
However, watching the game versus Chelsea, I'm not that worried anymore. Playing Rico as an advanced inverted full back gave us so much control in the center whilst allowing Haaland to play as an advanced forward.
The only thing was though, I could see defensive problems on the wings. Chelsea lacked in transition and so was unable to exploit those problems.
I think Man City will be fine with no replacement for now, but when injuries hit, it will become a problem.
Echeverri?
Gundo is back
I know it might BE controversial, and it wont happen as the guy just transferred to Chelsea but João Félix would BE perfect for That role. Very technical, very crative and would thrive as n10 ir false 9. Few players can play between the lines like he does.
But yeah he hás an atittude problem.
They need a second striker like El Bilal toure 😂
They should go for a ss who also can play amf.
Like Dybala, Griezmann
Savinho
And there goes Gundogan 💀
For all of those asking about Echeverri, he's not physically strong enough to play as a false 9 right now, and I am not sure he'll ever be. Take it from a River Plate fan. He's 1.71 and built slender. I know Messi and Aguero were short as well, but their legs are tree trunks. Even when they were young, you could tell by their hips. Echeverri is only 18 still, but I don't see him bulking up to play false 9, and, in any case, it won't happen soon. Also, he has the talent, but right now, he is still not good enough for City. He's been starting and playing good games in River Plate, but he's not a beast yet. Might be in the future. Might be a good replacement for Bernardo Silva in a couple of years.
Bellingham would be interesting to see
Bob
Pep Realized Argentinians are only good where Infentino helps and in UCL he doesn't so It's pointless having an Argentinian killing one Important spot
They should either go for a young prospect like Endrick or get an experienced decent Striker close to retirement like a Giroud. Basically they need someone who needs to be content as a back up but possesses enough quality to rotate with Haaland when needed.
claudio echeverri
Almost like a Cole Palmer? ….
Yes
A player like young prime Thomas Muller in the early 2010's
It'd be oscar bobb
tbf tho, Foden scored 27 last season, you could put him in there
Highly unlikely, but someone like Havertz would be perfect
savinho 🗣️🔥🔥🔥
