Although I rooted for the underdog. The referee was garbage. The Portugese players were tackled, dragged down and Ronaldo got the worst of it. Heck, the referee even gave yellow to a Portugese player saying he was acting, while replays showed that he indeed was tackled. The one time a Portugese player was even slightly touching a Georgian player, the VAR came into play and turned it into penalty. It was super biased.

On the other hand, Portugal didn't play well. And Georgia played well, if one overlooks the dirty plays.

Again no lack of technical ability but lack of speed in pass lack of verticality, lack of heart, of mind, seems like they went into the game already wanting to lose it.. not concentrated players took ages to pass or did not know where to pass, i ask myslef dont they train these things, are there supposed to train these, I have noticed that quality is imense in the team, but the speed of interchange of passing is pretty shit, the players seem to stop and need to think about were to pass and also due to this the speed and verticallity is non, those giving oposing team enough time to defend and conter attack pretty fast once we lose the ball, it is so easy to analyse teh defeat, also we did not help having once again refereeing teams (Swiss??? after we gave them a massive defeat in World cup) seriously the decisions to give some referees to Portugal matches in the internacional stages is clearly to punish us, only need to see the past games and incorrect decisions that have on the past penalised us (e.g. still remember on a qualifying match against Serbia on their home turff a goal being disallowed to portugal when it clearly went in but for some apparent reason and all had seen it was so clear it was not given). Plus you have to had the CR7 hate factor specially by the english driven media, you could see how happy they were evertime Ronaldo complained or went we went down the joy in thei voices lol.. they really still hate for us allways kicking their asses and wining them in major internacional matches except when we were roubed in 66 in their home turf..lol, offcourse… In either way for me is simple even against all odds if we had team spirit and speed and verticality we would have won this game easily.. even with all the dogy refering decisions.. is so clear that we seem so disjointed with all teh new elements,.. honestly the only team I see understands this veritcality and speed of change is Spain.. seems they got this driled in since their early national teams, and clearly we can see the effect players there play far bettter in the national team the speed of interplay is amazing. I propose our national team needds to have a boot camp in Spain national camp to learn how to cross the ball much faster lollllllllllll, Anyway I hope we dont play like this against Slovenia they already beat us in a friendly again because of slow speed of play players clearly sleeping and also 13th team doggy referee decisions..O well lets see

2. Portugal found it difficult playing against 12
3. Georgia's penalty was a penalty, but the blatant shirt pulling on Ronaldo was not?

This game was an utter shit show.

Congrats to Georgia, you deserve it. I don't know what this coach is doing but that was a painful game to watch, what a disgrace. We won't go far with this man.

Georgia GOALSCORER IDOLIZES RONALDO he was influenced by him😂& Ronaldo gave him his shirt – also Portugal were already through- so this game was not massively important 2 them as there best players were all benched – they USED there young players to try them out-which is good atleast they allowed them to play & know there weaknesses- but they may have suffered due to young Portuguese bad pass-which caused the first goal. Most people know Ronaldo was due a penalty but it was denied all the different commentators said 100% penalty. BUT instead they award Georgia a SOFT penalty Instead. Giving them a 2 win. I KNEW BEFORE THE match Georgia would win all these disallowed goals and penalties are not happening for nothing. Ones in background making the decisions. Also this Referee sadly wasn’t in favour of Portugal at all and if u watch the 1st match you can see it there 2 – there picking and choosing when to allow and disallow goals it’s getting pathetic they did this to Scotland and Belgium and Netherlands game and even gave extra 8 mins in Croatia Italy match that people were questioning where these 8 mins came from- they are doing it so the results go in the favour of uefa-THEY ALREADY KNOW who they want in the finals – corrupted football uefa & fifa. But more players/coaches need to stand up against this type of playing . Should be fair for all countries.

I felt Portugal team is not challenging to win ,they are reserving their energy for next games because they didn't expect Georgia will play superbly, only Ronaldo is challenging and his teammates are not much supportive especially crosses and also defenders. Too much counter attack from Georgia team. Too much possession will not work everytime
