I hope it works out well at least. He's only 23, seems very fit and an aggressive tackle – you can certainly see where he can fit in and be a valuable person in the first team. I'm not too concerned with the lack of progressive passing, as others have mentioned, all of the defense are good at that, and many successful teams in the past have functioned well with this defensive destroyer type that keeps passing simple. Allegedly we've only ever wanted him, seen him as the perfection choice, so… Hoping he settles OK and has a reasonable season!

I just wished we had gotten osimhen; sometimes u need a striker that makes the opposition prefer keeping 2 men on him which reduces who they commit to press.
Zirkzee and hojlund has to become monsters for us to be feared

Something Casimero was supposed to do, something Mc Tominay wasn't able to do, something Amrabat also failed to do.

He would be better along side Casemiro at this point. Mainoo is a talent but is not yet good enough to command a place.

Bruno Guimaraes would've been a solid alternative signing but glad to have that position boxed off and Ugarte looks the perfect fit…. Now we're seriously only lacking a clinical proven number 9. It's all we need. I'd of gone for Osimhen but he's gone out on loan, so either him next season or Isak or Watkins
