He doesnt fit into the team. Its square pegs in round holes. England should stop trying to shoehorn all the best players in, otherwise it will end up like the Golden Generation. Where they tried to fit Lampard Gerrard Scholes and Beckham into the same team and it was all a car crash.

He’s overrated, I don’t get what everyone sees in him
He’s not being allowed to play with the freedom like he has at City if they let him play how he wants & likes to play then he will be unstoppable but the England managers are tying him up & making him play in a way he’s not comfortable & happy with.
Nothing has gone wrong. Just can’t hold his own outside 115FC.
He’s a limited profile he’s literally post ACL Marco asensio. Can be a useful bench player at most. Not any where near as talented as Jude who won La liga player of the season and ucl young player of the season last year.
He's been part of Pep's system for his whole senior career. He'll come good eventually but we need to stop playing him because Palmer deserves a place in the starting 11 more than him.

Excuses
So overrated like many English players. I remember a few seasons back he was totally non existent as James Milner who was approaching retirement age kept him in his pocket the whole 90 minutes.
I'm sorry but this team demands a top coach. This team has the ability to dominate in tournaments. We shouldn't be settling with average managers
Just keep making excuses for poor performance. Just go with Cole Palmer and try Foden from the bench if that would help him
