Hope he’s in the right place then. We’ve done well rehabbing other players stagnant careers up to now

Fair play to the lad for opening up. One positive he can draw from this is that he’s admitted there’s a problem relatively early on, which gives him plenty of time to turn his career, and his life, around. He’s in a terrific environment to do just that at the minute.

Really proud of this generation of footballers for being publicly vulnerable despite norms set by their representatives, advisors, and society. Their messages will be heard by people who really need to hear them.

Respect to him for opening up about this. He was rubbish for us, hopefully he’ll do ok for you lads.
I’ve already put a hundred bar on him to score at The Riverside…..

Addiction will fuck you up, feel for the guy, hope he keeps up with sobriety.

Good for him to come out with this, one of the worst strikers I’ve ever seen in person but takes a strong character to face this and put it out in the public to help others get help.
Hopefully he can bounce back

Regardless of how he was for us fair play for being honest with all this. I hope he finds some stability and health

The Pally Fanny at Boro probably drove him to it whilst here.
