  1. The second problem is that the ball is rolling when Rice County is out. Sky Sports emphasized that "this would kill the whole argument", because even if Veltman took a quick, unblocked free kick, it would still be illegal. Law 13.2 relating to free kicks clearly states "the ball must be stationary and the player taking the free kick must not touch the ball again until it hits another player". In the event of legality, Veltman's quick free kick, if taken, would have been invalid and had to be replayed.

  2. The fourth problem is that Premier League Referees (PGMOL) Chief Howard Webb said last season that referees should not overreact and negatively affect the match. "Sometimes players have to get yellow cards, and opponents will pressure them to get more cards," Webb noted. Kavanagh's dismissal of Rice at the beginning of the second half certainly affected the outcome of the match. And if he was particularly serious about the rules, why didn't the referee warn Brighton goalkeeper Mark Verbruggen for running up to him to put pressure on Rice, demanding a second yellow card? Blackburn striker Makhtar Gueye received a yellow card for a similar reaction from referee Tony Harrington, in the match against Burnley in round 4 of the Championship (English First Division) last weekend.

  3. Think ALL football fans underestimate Raheem Sterling! Don’t forget the form he was in which made Liverpool sign him for £75 million when they still had Suarez. Then because of his brilliant form @ Liverpool, Man City signed him. Then he joined Chelsea and they ruined him but now he’s joined the mighty Arsenal and has worked with Arteta before so Arts WILL get him back to his best. Plus he can play anywhere across the front free, right or left wing & the number 10 position also don’t forget the period when he was England’s best player for about 10 years! 1st Jamaican player @ Arsenal too! 🥳🤩🍻

  4. I think its a biggest mistake by Arsenal selling Emily Smith to Fulham..He have a great future and such a talented boy. He will be one of the bsst player in Premier Leagues …

  5. Sterling to Arsenal is the perfect loan for Chelsea also. It is very much talked about how perfect it is for Arsenal (which it is) and that is what makes it so perfect for Chelsea. Their focus will be maximising his value for a sale next summer and if he performs at Arsenal, that will happen. It really is a win, win, win for all parties

  6. Arteta’s been smart. He spent 3-4 years building a core of young players 24 and under and now is filling out the depth with experience players in their prime.

  7. Raheem might just be the differnce for arsenal to win league or champs lge , if fits in quick and hits the form he still very very capaable of (he is what 29?) PEAK TIME for a player in his position , he could get them the 15 +😮GOALS they need from attacking players , with him and saka both out wide a would reckon they could both chip in with lot of goals this season not to mention plenty of assists

  8. I wish him all the best but we as chelsea fans can not miss him at all. He was wasteful, lazy and a burden to the others. I hope he will rediscover his form back in his days at City and dazzle again.
