Hope Mr Fillkrug has a very successful several seasons at West Ham. For a person who has lived most, if not all his life in Germany…his English is excellent and he listens to everything being said before replying so there is no miscommunication.
For me, Alvarez is clearly Captain of West Ham and either Arreola, Bowen, Killman or Fullkrug as vice captain. Whatever happens West Ham have several players that unofficial captains and and will make sure that when some matches are proving to be very difficult, those players will get everyone to fight until the last second of injury time…Almost like how previous Alex Ferguson teams at Aberdeen and Manchester United would fight until the last seconds of a match. Ruthless and merciless.
