There was plenty for Mikel Arteta and his coaching staff to digest in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Leicester City.

It was all going according to plan when we went 2-0 up just before half-time, but a James Justin brace put a spanner in the works.

Thankfully, our never-say-die attitude, combined with the influential introduction of young Ethan Nwaneri, saw us restore our two-goal lead in stoppage time.

  1. A few negatives: there were two or three moments when Saka should have passed but chose to shoot instead. I’m sure he’ll look back and realise passing would have been the better option. As for the last goal, Jesus also opted to shoot when a pass would have been better. I understand why he made that choice, but for the benefit of the team, I hope he chooses to pass next time. These are things we need to improve to make things easier for ourselves.
