The problem is ten hag , don’t seem capable of resting players due to form , never has done so , Bruno is an example ,
Team is being setup to fail by the manager. He’s managed to construct a system that gets the best out of none of his players while also badly exposing all of their weaknesses
Rashford is not capable on tracking back. The left is defensive so open. I’d love to see him in a 10 position.
Martinez is exposed as dalot doesnt like to get back into his full back position after inverting into midfield and doing nothing
We needed speedy defender who can play highlines!! Until we squeeze the pitch with high defensive line, pressing the opponent will expose us only, they will cut through the midfield like a piece of cake!! De Ligt can't play highline, Neither of the CBs i.e Martinez or De Ligt has pace!! So, when Dalot is in midfield as an inverted fullback, we are super super vulnerable to quick counters. The 3rd goal is proof of this. De Ligt dosn't provide anything more than Harry Maguire. So the signing of MDL doesn't make any sense to me, unless He's just successor to Maguire!! The day United start to maintain highline, all the defensive shortcomings will vanish. For that we need ball playing speedy CBs. Hopefully we can do better in this when Leny Yoro returns! ETH can't do anything unless they're able to play highline, can't blame the coach. It's poor recruitment.
The conceding of 3 goals stat is mostly because we are exposed while trying to play a high pressing style. If ten Hag was given the information from the owners that he needs to salvage this season by conceding less. Just play a low block and hit teams on the counter attack. Much safer and easier to setup. Don't need the energy from the players as the intensity needed to play a high press has to be top! We have players that aren't able to maintain that intensity. So will we see a change in style or ten Hag sacked? I do not think he will figure out how to make these players function with a high press.

Carragher is right about de ligt bejng a bit off positioning wise i think… he was always a foot behinf kn the crosses last night, even against spurs leavjng space for them to run into, almost inviting the run through denefce
De Ligt and Martinez were completely dogshit. That was worse than a Phil Jones and Chris Smalling performance. Terrible positioning for practically all of the goals.
Porto's goal came from dalots side why because he's to lazy to get into position and if on the rare occasion he is position he doesn't tackle and looks half asleep this is not the first time he did it against Brighton and Liverpool Fernandez is weak and can't tackle goes missing in every game needs to be dropped de light looks a weak defender and did nothing amad also did nothing eriksen passes well but weak in the tackle and has no pace and as for caseimero he was finished a little while ago looks leggy and nowhere near the player he was our midfield has been rubbish for ages the only two players who played well were mazouari and onana all we have nothing to look forward to this season another top ten finish and to struggle all season these players are a disgrace to our great club and more importantly there a disgrace to the fans

Martinez and Bruno need rest for sure. Martinez rest will only be possible when Luke comes back. Bruno can be replaced by Erikson or Mount. More than Martinez I think De Ligt is also having confidence issue and positional mistakes.

We have a manager who played Rashford for a full season when he was out of form. And now when he is coming into form he starts benching him. Ten Hag is quite eccentric I think.

Look INEOS stated it will take a couple of years to get where they want us to be. If they sack him anytime soon then it’s just new faces but same old shit. Should have kept Sabitzer and Amrabat for physical presence , two good players as well . The left back position is killing us even back to when Amrabat was at Old Trafford . Get Dalot away from left back and do it quickly . All told we look slow , tired ,

Rashford taken off for rotation was ETH not telling the full truth, he was poor defensively. Don't get the view that match last night was "must win" a draw on the road in Europe is nearly always a decent results. Need to be winning your home games and with Rangers,POAK etc to play those will be the more must win games.

A decade of failings
He costs us every game by not tracking back both Porto goals if you replay it shows rashford not busting the gut to get to his player. It’s like we are playing with 10 men every game. When we have 1 player not pulling their weight the team falls. He is selfish and not a team player he thinks about himself before the team.
It’s running off other players can see it
Ten Hag seems to have a plan before the game and he sticks to it whether the game is going the way anticipated or not.
This team attacks well, defends well or does neither, but never both in the same game.
Rashford was blowong out of his arse after 30 minutes. Ball went out for a Porto corner and he was doubled over with his hand on his knees breathing heavily.
I have absolutely no idea how people can say Rashford is coming into form. He was OK on Wednesday, that's it. Scoring a goal doesn't mean he played well, you can score and stink at the same time.
