The issue with Enzo Fernandez is not his durability or strenth in the tacket , he is actually robust. Its his lack of speed in transitions. He doesnt have the legs to get to the danger zones… If he had 2 extra yards of pace he would be complete..
Agree with you on everything and also, Enzo, on the ball, has a similar problem that plagued Pulisic: he cannot carry the ball under direct pressure from the side and back.
You can't build a great team in 3 months. That is the reality. Especially if the team has undergone a massive overhaul and start-stop situation for two years. New coach, new playing style, new owners, and fans are dreaming of a title challenge after 3 months…good thing the coaching staff have their realist lenses on. Improvement game by game is what is most important right now. Nothing else.
The physicality talk maresca was talking about is not targeting enzo Fernández. Enzo is here to stay he is not going to be sold nor dropped .
This is definitely true. We can't have debut season wonders like Mourinho, Conte and Ancelotti did. In the era of the Peps and Klop, it's asking for the sky when we've barely learnt to crawl on the ground. Let's get top 4 first and then we can talk about competing for the title.

Miz in my humble opinion, the question of whether we can fight for the pl title this season depends upon the run of fixtures from october to the game against villa. If we drop no more than 3-4 points in these 6 games, game on(ofc we need to win against nott forest). Otherwise we should be aiming for top 4…
He needs to know 9 years was with numerous trophies. He shouldn’t be like Arsenal coach with 5 years without a premier league. Chelsea don’t have that luxury of patience.
It didn't take City 9 yrs to start competing under Guardiola..it was in the second season..I expect us with this squad to at least compete
Man City? I can somewhat understand. But Arsenal?? Hell no. Arsenal have won 1 cup in 4 full years with Arteta. We have to win a trophy this season. Next season, we win the league. That's the standard in my view as a Chelsea supporter
I don't know why anyone will ask him this early, to be honest it's dumb question. Chelsea are doing well early in the season. Let's wait after 10 games then ask that question again. Maresca keeps saying, we take it game by game, so the more we keep picking up points, confidence grows and belief grows then you never know what will happen. So that question was no necessary.
Miz even pep guadiola isn't telling us he's in a title race. The media makes all these things up but the managers all know what they are doing . Confidence and momentum are very important elements in team progression so lets give them space. Let's wait and see after 20 games down the line . Am sure Chelsea will still be in and around the top.

With our recent previous management appointees there was little sign of progress & EM is not scared to call it as he sees it. Thankfully Poch moved on & now we can evolve to accommodate the aspirations of the fans, players & owners alike.
