It was martinelli who cost us the league last season. He went 17 games without scoring and assisting. Mikel showed so much trust in him starting him week in week out over Trossard who who scoring clutch goals against big teams, but how did he repay mikel's trust by ghosting and only scoring 6 times in the prem. This number is unacceptable when your team is challenging city for the league. Even trossard scored double the amount of goals last season in the Prem despite playing less minutes

Arsenal have left back and right back positions on LOCK. Versatility of Timber and Tomiyasu to play on either wing or CB adds another layer of protection. Similar thing with Calafiori, Kiwior and White being able to play centre back or LB/RB.
I have never seen so many good defenders at one club at the same time and all looking happy. Props to Edu and Arteta 👍
