[Asif Burhan] Research by the Mastercard Economics Institute reveals Arsenal’s Women matches at the Emirates Stadium led to a marked increase in spending at local bars (average 16%) and restaurants (15%) in the 1km area around the ground, demonstrating the economic impact of women’s football.
