Disgusting players going on strike, they need to go to work in a normal life, get over yourselfs ,should you get injured your taking care of Normal people canβt get an appointment
Most of you in the comments are like Simon hypocrites. Money can not buy you health and that is what rodri is saying. Every time players express concerns about the amount of games they are playing some dumb people talking garbage. Making plenty money and not taking care of their physical health is just nonsense again don't matter how rich you are you can not buy back your health.
The NBA plays 82 games + playoff. Sometimes back to back games. Beforefore their playoffs. Food for thought
Rodri talking about how fit Haarland has looked after his World Cup break, never mind that heβs a goal hanger who doesnβt run that much.
Lmao taking a read at this comment section it's crystal clear 75% of people here have never been to the gym or gone on a jog. People thinking footballers only work when they play an official match. There's so much more to it than that. You're complaining about their high wages? Don't contribute to it then. The best athletes are also human and there's only so much physical strain ANY body can take before it gives in. I would rather watch my favourite fooballer have a longer career than watch it end prematurely due to injury or just drop in performance. Use your two brain cells and go educate yourselves. Or go for a run and do that 7 days a week. Bunch of couch potatoes
I wish I could kick Simon in his teeth. He would be first in line complaining if he was a playerπ―
Brexit boy Simon doing 4 days a week whilst moaning about the workers not working hard enough. Guy is a typical elitist snob who shouldnβt have the platform he does
The media & fan backlash to this waffle from footballers should be as harsh as it was around the European Super League plans
Overpaid out of touch footballers wanting more and more money and less work
Makes me sick to my stomach
Im sick and tired of hearing about fixture congestion and players playing too many games!!!!!! If you don't like it, quit and get a proper job on 30k a year like the real world has to do
Simon is 100% right. If they lost money based on the number of games or number of minutes played, each and every one of them would be there every game for 90 minutes. It's pathetic that people who work 2 hours a day for hundreds of thousands a week dare to complain about being overworked. π
Does Jim White ever shut up? Nobody wants to hear your voice Jim, we know you love the sound of your own voice and are desperate for controversy. π‘π‘π‘π‘
Man City are victim of their own success in this way of their players saying thereβs to many games. When you are prime time than you are in demand, back in the day when United and Fergie and Arsenal and Wenger dominated English football those squads also had to go through fixture congestion and travelling to far parts of the world to expand your brand.
It comes with the territory, thatβs why you need mentally head strong players like Giggs, Keane, Veira, Tony Adams, Henry, Ferdinand, Vidic, etc etc, they just donβt make them as hard as nails anymore, football just isnβt the same
If more games are a problem and you want a reduction, then take a reduction in pay. But no, it's that they want their cake and eat it. There are working people doing 6 day weeks struggling to pay their bills and their one key pleasure is football and a guy who kicks a ball around earning several times in 1 week what the average person earns in several years has the sheer audacity to threaten player strikes. These players need to get their heads out their backsides, shut up and get on with it or take a pay cut. I've got no sympathy.
If top players asked to be benched like Simon suggested heβll be the first idiot to come out and complain about it.
Jim white shut up let people talk u act like a baby you need the last words
I can understand where Rodri is coming from. Muscle injuries will be a common thing. As a supporter of a top 6 side, i want to see the best players
Jim you are a Muppet
Rodri is a moaning face C*** said grass was too long wen scotland beat Spain
Let him go and work 6 days on construction and still cant afford holiday and see how he feeling only Spanish and South American winge okey
Don't always agree with Simon but he is 100% correct here.
they all make good points, we all can see that 80 games is too much and will lead to injuries galore and less entertainment for us, BUT Simon is also right, the players need to compromise and give up some wages (they wont)
