  1. My Opinion for what its worth.
Bellingham brilliant in the Real Madrid team.
Foden Brilliant in the Man City team.
Trent Brilliant in the Liverpool team.
Rice and Saka Brilliant in the Arsenal team.
Palmer Brilliant in the Chelsea team.
Yet collectively in the England team everyone slags them off as awful.
The truth is these Players are brilliant in their Clubs because the are surrounded by 1st Class foreign players who make them look good.

  2. Have a look at Portugal, France, Belgium, Italy, they’re all finding it difficult. Only Germany have looked impressive. But we have a knack of making it difficult

  3. Jim needs to understand. Tge players are being put on a leash. No player other than Kane has been given the freedom to play. Southgate is defensive, negative and boring. These players under a real manager would be dangerous.

  4. It's not Southgate's fault he has always been incompetent his record is one club relegated from the premier league. All teams playing like that get criticised

  5. Why do the FA allow this muppet of a manager to continue .he should have been sacked ages ago not just this tournament but others before .haven’t they learned anything.

  6. Gareth obv just reads books on leadership and repeats back what he reads and doesn't ruffle any feathers. Unfortunately for england fans he's created an environment for softies where no one is properly held to account and he's scared to upset anyone

  7. Spain, Italy, Germany, France are the Premier League’s rivals for domestic leagues, and they all win International trophies regularly. England are the biggest underachievers in history. People always blamed the number of foreign players in the Premier League, but every other country has the same influx of foreigners in their leagues. It’s a matter of not being good enough, lack of determination and motivation and nothing more!

  8. One of the most hotly debated points over the last few years has been Trent vs Reece James as best RWB in the league. So Southgate plays neither at RWB…. Leaves James at home despite being fit before the end of the season, but takes Shaw who hasn’t kicked a ball in 4 months!
Cole Palmer has been outstanding all season, but Southgate waits until a couple of weeks before the Euros to pick him in a squad and says he’s too young to start a game… Palmer has been tearing top teams apart with goals and assists for Chelsea. Play him! He’s in form!
Southgate is clueless, and only picks his old faithful players, sticks with the same old tactic and won’t change it wether we are winning or losing. You’ve got to adapt and have a plan B and C….

  9. We aren't the laughing stock!!! What about France, Belgium, Portugal etc who have stuttered against lesser nations. Maybe the lower teams are bridging the gap too…Georgia etc

  10. Its NOT the best league football …istically ….EVERY SINGLE team knocked out in Europe ……which is the only yardstick of quality on the pitch ….people and pundits in this country confuse commercial success and excitement with football quality ….technical and tactical quality ….it aint that by a long way …agricultural anti quality mindset among supporters ….result …we get drubbings by clubs and countries far better than us in the actual football

  11. Fancy serving up the absolute garbage the fans have been served up, especially those that might well have had to miss holidays so they could save up to get out there and then criticising them for expressing their feelings on England's performance. Jesus Gareth you fit right in with the modern day offended generation.
Guy must have a thousand rabbits feet and two lamps with genes in the loft with all the unbelievable easy draws he's had in the tournaments since he became manager. 24 times we've played teams ranked in the top ten since he became manager and we've won 4, let that sink in. Forget how far we've got against below average teams, look at how we've performed against the top ten best teams in the world, because that's who'll we'll have to eventually beat if we want to win silverware.
We have a squad whose strengths lie in the forward players and yet time and time again we're setting up defensively and sitting deep and that's tactically inept. Not only that but when we see it's not working, we keep doing it, game after game.
