He's good enough to make opposition wingers worried about him going the other way. Hes a serious player, Reminder, he won the league, Champions league, incl 2 lost CL finals, and World club championship as starting right back and integral member. Including beating teams like Man city, Barcelona (with Messi), Bayern Munich, etc with good forwards on the way,,, and now hes even better than what he was then. Get a good center half and DM who can run, alternate and cover him, if need arises. Learn from carlo Ancelotti. Trust players to manage situations in games.
I get tired of people talking about TAA as if he's some new player from the championship.
He's been playing at the top level for over 5 seasons now. He's played in three UCL finals against the best wingers in the business, so stop with this – 'when it comes to playing Brazil (and co)' nonsense.
TAA will hold his own against any opposition, as he has the self-confidence, talent, and experience to do so.
What is important is that when he gets forward (as you lot want him to), there's a plan to cover for him if and when there's a transition/counter from the opposition.
TAA has proven on so many occasions that he can defend in one-on-one situations, but when he does, it haldly gets a mention from you lot, only the disingenious narrative that 'he can't defend' seems to be what you lot lazily like to preach.
It's so stale now!
England should play their most talented players in positions that they have proven (in their clubs) to be most effective, and TAA has proven time after time that he's arguably one of the best right backs in the world.
Walker is good cos he is v fast thats it. He isnt a good footballer.

Kyle walker has made an incredible career of being very very fast. He’s mediocre in attack, and aside from being fast he’s not a particularly good defensive player.
It absolutely baffles me that only now people are noticing how good Trent Alexander Arnold is 🤦….. People slate his defensive skills but this is a player who who's made it to 3 Champions League finals and has been part of a Liverpool defence thats been multiple times the best defence in the league!!
His numbers for assists and chances created are like nothing we've ever seen before from a right back the boy is world class with the ball at his feet
Shut the hell up about playing Brazil etc, Trent can do the job against these players. He has been doing it his whole career. So lazy to say Walker if you are playing so and so. He got dusted the whole Euro tournament.
TAA exposes, a persons FEAR
"Imagine we're playing Brazil tomorrow.". Oh shut up, Benty. Brazil are rubbish right now if you haven't noticed. They are not playing well AT ALL and have just lost 1 – 0 to Paraguay. They aren't the Brazil of old. I can't stand this lazy chat. If we're gonna play Trent against all the "weaker" teams, then we have to stick with him against the better teams because we'll still need what he can offer going forward. Also despite people's opinion that he's a bad defender most don't realise that his defensive work is improving year on year. He's acknowledged he needs to work on that side of his game and this season so far for Liverpool he hasn't put a foot wrong defensively.

Southgate didn't have the IQ or ability to know how to use TAA.
For years now, Trent has been the best player in the England squad, not even close. Southgate wasted generation.
England rubbed itself for not winning the Euros when everything was there for the taking. They had Trent on the bench which was a travesty for the team. TAA is has changed the game for the modern fullbacks and he’s underrated. Kyle is thought to be that great because he plays for City but not better than Trent.
Trents won almost everything in the game at 25 a key piece in the Liverpool side and one of PL greatest ever teams, he's also vice captain. There should never have been trust issues but a media narrative gained momentum and England had a negative coach who wanted an old fashioned defensive RB.
