Agree on the Fossey rating – some of the other commentators were dismissive of his performance, but I thought he played a rather smart game. Overlapping, covering center backs, etc. Somewhat raw, but potential there.
This camp really called into question the mental and emotional resilience of many players that have been touted as our "Golden Generation." Hopefully Pochettino won't coddle them, and he'll be ruthless in leaving some "name" players at home during call ups. As fans we need to be patient when some of our favorites are left at home in order to prove a point and create some motivation.
This last remnants of Berhalter are gone now with that draw.
No more excuses now, Poch is proven and excited to see how he improves the team.
With Poch now the US manager, I think we should expect a minimum standard of play: no goals conceded from now on and at least 5 goals scored per match. I would be satisfied with that. 😉
Will I told y’all that Luca would show you he belongs. I think pulisic is just bad social to do the same thing and I do care it just comes across different
Musah has been playing very well at AC Milan. Rating morris or de la torre over him is a wild take.
This was a very disappointing camp. At times, our players did not even look like professionals.
As far as the CBs are concerned, McKenzie did look better than Richards. But, neither of them looked good enough. I don't see anyone else in the wings that might be ready by 2026. Seeing how we have a logjam at 6, I would actually be open to Tessman and Maloney at CB. They can't be any worse, and it might give them an opportunity to play at the WC.
The only players that looked decent this camp were Fosey, Morris and Shulte.
Don't get me wrong, they did not look like MNT starters, but they definitely earned another look.
Now with college football back on and with these latest results I probably won’t tune in until 2026 but solid job guys wish you all the best! USMNT doesn’t deserve people like you
