  1. I feel it's hard enough for international managers with so little time with the players on the training field, so they have to judge a lot on the clubs??? For a player to go and play bounce games all year then expect to come straight into Euro qualifying or World Cup games??? ๐Ÿค” nah!!!

  2. 26 yr old Bergwijn captain at Ajax + Internationalย
    going to Saudi Competion = sayingย I am no longer interested to play on the highest level .
    Koeman = right

    The back story = Koeman as The National coach of the Netherlands always backed Bergwijn

    Koeman = deeply disappointed in the move Bergwijn made

    Steven Bergwijn should have phoned with Koeman before he was going to sign for Al Ihattad
    most dutch internationals phoned with Koeman before they were going to sign for a new club

    Bergwijn = a not so bright guyย
    shows a lot of wrong pride

  3. If you play in a league full of substandard players, then you aren't being pushed to be at the top of your game. Be mega mega rich or be the best you can be and still be mega rich. Up to you, but don't expect both or any sympathy when your country dumps you

  4. I donโ€™t know if there are more sports besides F1 and Premier league where itโ€™s normal in morally corrupt England that you are taking billions of blood money dollars from horror anti human and specially anti female and gay right regimes but it isnโ€™t in the decent Netherlands, the moral discussion was not even on the radar, you people have some serious issues

  5. It's as simple as that: If you're playing for a top nation, you can't play in a cirkus league. And that's what Saudi Arabia is. Koeman is right 100%.

  6. Tbh I think koemans right. Plus this serves as a great example to any other Dutch players that might consider a similar transfer. If they know their spot will be gone they will think twice.

  7. If you go to saudi arabia you are playing football for money and not because you want to be the best, so i dont think its that surprising that koeman has said that, cant have it both ways, playing in a piss poor league and still think you can be in the national team of a top nation

  8. The main point is that Koeman did not communicate this with Bergwijn first , he should have done that ,also double standard ,as Gini Wijnaldum was selected while playing in SA.. Koeman stating it was the only contry were he could go and keep playing is a lie as Gini could have gone to Feyenoord ,but he did not want to cut his salary.

  9. France used Kante who plays in Saudi at the Euro, Portugal used Ronaldo, Spain used that center back. All these teams have won something in recent years and the Dutch have not. They think they are special and the other nations are not football wise?
