ESPN FC’s Sebastian Salazar and Herculez Gomez discuss the poor form of USMNT and FC Dallas striker Jesus Ferreira. Herc feels the slump comes at the worst time for him heading into a World Cup, while Seb is more lenient with his criticism of the forward.

  1. He is so overrated. His performance was rubbish as was his decision making versus Austin.

    He’s a decent MLS player. That’s it.

He shouldn’t be on World Cup team.

  2. Ferreira looks very good for a 21 year old and FC Dallas wouldn't even be a playoff team without him. With that said, when the speed of play and intensity is increased, he's a step behind.

  3. This dude said "when the competition is increased" and he mentioned Mexico, and Canada 😂 dude is clueless that ain't competition that's C level national teams just like Granada and Trinidad 💀

  4. Anyone but Gregg would have Ferreira behind Sargent and Pepi with the amazing form they're in and both at higher levels. Any other coach would also have Pefok over Jesus. 3 strikers in great form, yet Gregg will start his ice cold, MLS guy.

  5. He's just not world class and wont ever be. He will be a good MLS player and thats it. His link up play is good when the game is slow and nobody is pressuring him.

  6. Pefok, Sargent and Pepi are all taller and more physical and in the WC we need this on the pitch. take away the 4 goal game and he hasn't really done much for the USMNT

  7. Its ok because form isnt taken into account its all about "fitting the system" which Berhalter obviously thinks he does🤣

  8. Jesus also isn't that arial target forward that fits "The System" he cant win a header to save his life. Our offense is push the ball wide and send in crosses to a lone striker. Jesus is the worst option for that.

  9. Greg Berhalter is a non-sentient lifeform and tool of the MLS-SUM-USSF industrial complex. That's the ONLY reason Jesus Ferreira is even on the USMNT. It makes me sick to see Berhalter coaching the USMNT.
