Hi fellow Cityzen, Nigerian fan here. I feel there are some bitter-truth improvements that need to made in order for us to become champions again.
1) The team sometimes lacked spirit/passion in the previous season. The players need to be able to show determination and win back matches especially when we are a nil or two down (which they hardly did last year unlike Leicester).
2) Defence! Defence! Defence! Mangala panics and makes too many mistakes, Kompany was fighting to be fit, Kolarov is too attack minded, Clichy and Sagna need to learn to cross the ball more effectively….Arghh…
3)Theres always a problem on the right hand side. the process usually goes like this; Sagna runs down the touchline, passes the ball to Navas. Navas fakes going to the left, then predictably goes to the right, crosses a grounded ball that is then blocked!
4)We hardly ever capitalised on corners the previous season. Bony did alright (hes not a fit for city though. not mobile and quick enough)..
This season is ours though 🙂
