  1. lolol…I watched the podcast…and this is what has been pulled out of it? The people who look petty and jealous? Take a look in the mirror ESPN FC! Truly nuts.

  2. 🙄Ale Moreno he’s burned every single bridge there is when it comes to the players🧐no he hasn’t because in Marsch’s recent remarks after he didn’t get the job when the federation rehired Berhalter he said he would never coach the USMNT because of the current board. If the board members change then maybe he would consider it.

  3. The US media keeps asking him these questions about the USMNT. It’s kind of funny how the same US media is offended when he gives honest answers.

  4. I appreciate USMNT coverage on ESPN FC for the most part(besides Burley) but this seems like a reach for clicks/views

Marsch was asked a DIRECT question literally twice by Jimmy Conrad

He gave a diplomatic coach speak answer the first time and Conrad cornered him into a deeper dive into a player pool he's intimate with and was vying to manage

Also also Marsch was a former host on the very same podcast he was a guest on so there's a sense of familiarity with the hosts AND the player pool

Saying "no comment" is worse than keeping it real AND he didn't even really go in on the players he correctly relayed/reminded us the core of the squad wanted Berhalter back or at the very least backed him in public so it's weird for them to desire discipline now

Herc is the man and the voice of the people but this was extremely disingenuous and misleading

  5. I knew the real reason to bash Jessie was about not singing the US anthem on Saturday. Jessie has been R I N O `d by US soccer just like Taylor Swift (NFL fans ) and Kapernick ( NFL fans). Ask him if he recites the pledge of allegiance on a daily basis, if not, cast him to the curb. I take his opinion of the hiring process over yours as he was involved and yall were not.

  6. The only ones harping on the Marsch story are US media and other hangers on like Herc and Alejandro. This latter who made the most spiteful ungenerous comments after Canada took out Venezuela deservedly in the Copa.
Then 3 minutes of unintelligible pub banter and that's ESPN ❓

  7. Wait, did I miss something? Didn’t they ask him that question? Jesse respectfully responding is “taking shots” like a “jilted lover”? Ridiculous and petty take by the panel! Jealous much….?

  8. Herc and Marsch make waythehell more out of what players said wanting Berhalter to stay. They were mild comments that were simply politic which were blown up and taken out of context. I mean every time they were asked these questions they were about to play for the guy. Whatthefook do you think they'd say? 🤣

  9. As an American, Marsch has every right to comment. The USSF is a joke of an organization. The idea that players decide who the National Team Manager should be is completely unacceptable, period.

  10. There are many systemic issues with American soccer, but the infestation of the ESPN “hot take” crowd that you all are a part of does nothing to fix any of it. The thing about Jesse Marsch is that he is perhaps the first American coach that went in search of international bona fides with the idea of combining it with the things that always made Americans tough to play against. Gregg Berhalter was a hipster doofus that always looked like he was thumbing through a copy of “How To Use Rondos To Play Possession Soccer.” Jesse was absolutely correct in his comments: the US Fed didn’t have the guts to leave Gregg out of the picture because it would always be assumed that it was because of the Reyna issue. The players that backed him did so for that reason, it was all PR. They needed to show a united front that the Fed wasn’t a pushover. When his performance once again became an issue (it always was, mind you), they had their out. YOU are the ones, with your hot take nonsense, who want Marsch’s comments to be a problem rather a commentary on the reality of this nation’s soccer program.

  11. ESPN and mainstream soccer media are a joke. Y’all know how to stir up drama out of thin air. Jesse was just answering a question rather that just forcing his agenda of humiliating the USMNT players…by the way, he’s right too

  12. I see nothing wrong with Jesse being petty😂😂😂😂 He was a podcast host of the show. He’s got a right to call out all the players!!! It’s two-faced! Ale is still salty about the 🇻🇪’ s loss in Copa America 😂😂😂
