Clearlake as a PE Company represemts approx 100bil US Dollars for their Clients. They are at least in the Global Top200. They have the money to sustain Chelsea if needed and further expand i.e. new Stadium. Where as Egbali is the dealmaker for Clearlake Filiziano is THE Accounting Guy. He finds all the loopholes. He provides all the relevant numbers when it comes to running the business and spendings. Reports are both were pretty unhappy with how Todd was running the Club in that transfer window. They "complained" about having to clean up his mess untill the current window to fix all the bad signings. From a fan/supporter POV not much realy would change if Clearlake buys more stakes. As the majority shareholder they call all important shots anyways. Also splashing most of th money needed so far. Both for invest into players but also to balance the accounts FFP/PSR wise. Clearlake bought the Hotels. Not the consortium.
