  1. It would be something to have Klopp. But he’s a man who has to live breath and love the project he is working on. Could he do that as a German for England? I suspect that is why he wouldn’t want the job. He is happy to be a honorary Scouser but a honorary Englishman. That would be a step too far for him.

  2. I think Southgate has done better than Venables, Hodgson, Redknap, Robson and ericksen he got us to 2 finals what have the others done NOTHING AT ALL. SO leave him alone.

  3. England definitely doesn't have the best fans in the world Gareth, they have cheerleaders like Mark Goldbridge and Rory Jennings leading a nation of sheep making sure you never get another managing job for the rest of your life.

  4. What will Gareth Southgate’s legacy be? Failed Guru (see John McDermott)
People forget losers (don't win anything) pretty quickly and England search for a Guru (eg Bill Shankly) continues and don't forget even the England manager legend Alf Ramsey was sacked for not qualifying 74 and the FA theatre of hate ending there.
John McDermott perhaps a big reason why England are so poor on the big stage with no Guru:

    From FA site:
"In his 15 years at Spurs, he oversaw their academy and helped to bring through future England internationals such as Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Steven Caulker, Andros Townsend, Jake Livermore, Harry Winks and Ryan Mason, as well as a considerable number currently in the Young Lions pipeline.

He has also helped develop the careers of many coaches including Burnley manager Scott Parker and his former assistant, Matt Wells, plus Liverpool academy manager Alex Inglethorpe. McDermott has also worked closely with Tim Sherwood, Mauricio Pochettino and then José Mourinho in support of the Spurs first team."

  5. It costs thousands of pounds to get anywhere near a decent "qualified" level even at volunteer grassroots level, no wonder there is a limited amount of up and coming English coaches..fa is a joke

  6. England need a premier league winning manager as we have world class players.
Stop suggesting up and coming coaches that are new to the managing role.
    Klopp would be great.

  7. Yes agree Gareth left us in a much better place, thanks Mr Southgate, but we do need a pressing manager and Klopp is the man all English players respect him and he would be so welcome from us English fans. By the way guys love this show, Gary, Alan, Mika 👍

  8. Lee Carsley should be given a shot even for the Nations League games. Led England to U21's Euros victory last year without conceding a goal all tournament and is familiar with the England set up already. Both Palmer and Gordan featured for England in those games so will definitely play if he comes in.

  9. Gary stop to try save your hobi and start to think about UK!
Take your place like a king … you are born to Enherite the crown… i am out… bulgarians are need of me.. or not… Gary… go to your house… go our house

  10. Potter's friendly PE Teacher act may have worked in the lower divisions of Sweden but he showed at Chelsea that he's not the right man to manage top-class professionals.

Apart from getting a couple of promotions in Sweden, what has he actually achieved in football?

He finished mid-table in his one season at Swansea, who, incidentally, got to the play-offs in the two seasons after he left, his Premier League win percentage at Brighton was very similar to Chris Hughton's and, like Swansea, Brighton were better off without him and he had a nightmare at Chelsea and has been out of work for about 18 months!

Having said that, you can be sure that Potter will be named England manager within the coming weeks.

The FA will see him as their ideal man, as he's like Southgate and Hodgson rolled into one and is a free agent!

England are too good to fail in a massive way, so I'm not worried about us failing to qualify for The World Cup or anything like that but I can't see Potter matching Southgate's record.

  11. Disgrace England were anywhere near a final, got a comically easy route to the final and still made a mess of it. Extra time needed to get past slovakia, pens for switzerland and then a dive from kane to get them the pen against netherlands. Absolute disgrace to football they were given silver medals.

  12. Who next for england……?

    Nations league Group B games.

For the team brimming with world class players. "An embarrassment of riches"

    😂😂😂😂
