USMNT fans have been hoping Giovanni Reyna would find a new club for years now in his endless search for more regular playing time at the club level. And while that would still be the best-case scenario, moving late in the transfer window after pre-season training is over and league seasons have already begun is a dangerous possibility that could put Reyna at a disadvantage with a new club.
So given the hour of the summer, is his best spot not staying at Dortmund and fighting for playing time under a new coach who seems to be willing to give him a clean slate?

Perhaps his parents should make some calls to BVB upper management? But seriously, I agree staying put in Dortmund is about as good of a situation as any. I wonder if he needs to advocate for himself more. Hopefully, a run of form and some good old determination will get him to where heโs playing 40-60 minutes per match.
