I had this exact thought this afternoon. We decided that while most of the team got a two luggage allowance, he got four.

Its a full time job with a team in the States for most of our pro sports teams. Also being a mascot can bring some serious money. Most baseball ones bring in between 40-60k per year, with the tops ones making over 100k. Basketball is the most lucrative with Rocky the Mountain lion making 625k.
No idea how it’s done in England. My guess, especially with the amount of stuff Gunnersaurus is at, is it’s a full time club salaried position.

Wait now that I think about it more, it’s probably another guy since gunnersaurus must’ve been at the men’s Wolves game

For this tour, it was various non-football Arsenal staff members (ticketing folks, travel coordinators, event planning, etc) wearing the suit for different events. Not sure who drew the short straw for wearing it in the heat for Sunday across two games but that’s a much tougher gig than some of the fan events Gunnersaurus attended throughout the week.

The real question is was he wearing the suit on the plane to hide his real identity
