Anyway on to football, when we already have a perfectly good Bobby Pointon and a number of other players competing in the same position, considering this is a loan, we might as well have signed my nan. I’m sure she’d have been even cheaper, although I don’t think my nan would have been happy with being called cheap.
Anyway forget my nan (I have), my point is. It seems our “strategy” which last season according to Gent was a “balanced” strategy (which is not a strategy). We seem to be trying to emulate Crawley with the types of signings we are making, but in true Bradford City “balanced strategy” style, instead of signing them permanently and selling them for a quick profit next season, we are going to increase their value by giving them a chance here so their parent clubs can benefit from the increase in their value, whilst devaluing and stunting the development of our best hope Bobby Pointon.
That’s what I love about supporting Bradford City, nothing ever makes any sense. And it’s never in a proving me wrong kind of way. 🤦
So it looks like he is gna be part of jake young goin to wigan. Obviously we get a fee and this lad is a sweetener. How about some defenders or some cover for smallwood. Rather than another attacking mid
Seems a good player but I agree with many others why do we need another attacking midfielder?…I could understand if he was cover for Smallwood but he isn't so all it does is stunt Pointon's development and that too me is ludicrous!!!…
I just hope this supposed last signing GA has mentioned will be cover for Smallwood if its another midfielder!!!…🤞🏻🤞🏻
