This kinda confirms my theory with what theyโre aiming for with the recruitment. It seems like they are trying to build a complete team which includes the subs so that they wonโt be fully dependent on a specific player and be prone to a strategic loss once that is lost (like potentially without a main striker if Vardy hasnโt decided to step up while technically still on rehab). Itโs like having a starting pitcher and then relief pitchersโฆ Except with all the players on the field. I do wonder if Ayew is in fact going to play as attacking midfielder/playmaker or are they still looking for one? Actually atm the players they need to consider looking for now are fullbacks, since we now have at least 2 options for each position in the starting 11 to my knowledge beside those back wings
