  1. Similar situation between Abu Kamara and Johannes Hoff Thorup and Nelson Oliviera and Daniel Farke when Daniel Farke started as Norwich Manager, when Oliviera threw his shirt on the floor after scoring. The attitude of Kamara may not be of Johannes Hoff Thorup's liking.

  2. I’m a blade, I thought you was gonna get a winner at the end, think you have a good starting 11 but your bench is very weak currently, I think we might scrape 6th but we can’t play for 90 mins yet

  3. The forthcoming international break was mentioned on Canary Call. I think it's an opportunity for Thorup to addresses the shortcomings on the pitch. We can't get a firm idea of how Norwich's season will progress until around October.

  4. Bringing in a midfielder should be your number one priority. I have to disagree with you though, Jack, regarding top six being a monumental achievement. Norwich were atrocious last season, yet still managed to get the play-offs. As well as that, the league is much weaker this season. Getting top six should be the aim, otherwise bye bye JHT.

  5. I was worried about the amount of space we gave Sheffield in our own half, didn’t enjoy the passing around the back and the lofted long ball Wagner style. We also gave away possession and tried too many passes threaded through the defence, none of which worked.
However, the 2nd half was much better with Sheffield having few chances. We nearly squeezed a goal at the end as well.
So positive direction, but we still need steel in midfield and another striker. I’m pretty positive, but there’s still a lot of improvement needed before we can dominate games.

  6. What a bunch of complete rubbish. Can't buy a win and 2/3 games have been at home! God knows what will happen if we lose Sargent or he gets injured.

  7. We are only getting loan money from Rowe tho till next summer, good to speak to you on canary call today, we defiantly need a couple of players and a few results

  8. Hi Jack , we are playing better football than at the start of last season. With all the comings and goings that's a decent foundation to build from. I believe that anything is possible at this stage and will refrain from making a prediction about finishing position until the end of September. OTBC.

  9. What's with all the moaning in the comments? We all knew this was going to be a project, and likely take the whole season. Green shoots are there, and to me this looks very similar to DF's first season. It has been THREE games, it will take time. Everyone needs to lower expectations and just allow JHT the time he is going to need here

  10. Thought Sheff United were very good lots of physical strength and a mix of skilful players

Need 3 or 4 additions- the bench is young and weak – need depth to deal with any injuries this season
