FT: Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 Everton
Spurs hosted The Toffees at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as Sean Dyche and Ange Postecoglou faced off!
Wilson Odobert made his Tottenham debut and started in a much changed Spurs side
Tottenham started the strongest with good chances falling to Brennan Johnson, Cristian Romero, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski!
Even without the injured Dominic Solanke, Tottenham looked strong in attack.
But it was Yves Bissouma who scored the first goal for Tottenham with a wonder strike after good work from Deki
Then Heung-Min Son (์ํฅ๋ฏผ) made it 2-0 after a mistake from England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Many thought Micky van de Ven suffered an injury.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Dwight McNeil wasted some chances as well!
But in the second half Spurs put them game to bed at 3-0 as James Maddisonโs corner resulted in a Cristian Romero goal
Son Heung-Min (์ํฅ๋ฏผ) scored again to make it a brace for him and 4-0 to Tottenham after an amazing run by Micky van de Ven!
Sean Dycheโs squad also had James Tarkowski, Michael Keane, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Jack Harrison!
Next up for Tottenham is Newcastle United then the North London Derby against Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur have not been quite as active in the transfer window this summer – only signing Archie Gray from Leeds United and Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC, Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth and Wilson Odobert from Burnley – but over the last few years under Ange Postecoglou Spurs have been building a top youth side.
With the help of Daniel Levy, Scott Munn, Johan Lange and Fabio Paratici Spurs have lowered the average age of the squad to 25.
The Premier League is heating up with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves aka Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City.
Ange Postecoglou and his Tottenham squad include Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Emerson Royal, Yves Bissouma, Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil, Brennan Johnson, Son Heung-Min (์ํฅ๋ฏผ) Richarlison, Pape Matar Sarr, Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington, Ashley Phillips, Oliver Skipp, Rodrigo Bentancur, Sergio Reguilon, Djed Spence, Ryan Sessegnon, Micky van de Ven, Timo Werner, Radu Dragusin, James Maddison and Dane Scarlett, Manor Solomon, Alejo Veliz, Giovani Lo Celso, Ben Davies, Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Alfie Whiteman, Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Tanguy Ndombele, Joe Rodon, Lucas Bergvall, Mikey Moore, Archie Gray, Yang Min-hyuk, Wilson Odobert, Dominic Solanke and Luka Vuskovic.

Hey mate, great win against a bottom 5 team. Some games the chances will go in but remember one swallow doesn't make a summer.Good that young Frenchy got a start.More difficult games are coming.Theres 50+ games this season a couple more quality starting level players are needed.
Against Everton?? ๐๐๐๐
Brilliant Biss redemption arc story
Superb win ๐๐ฎ๐ณ
In the Tofees defence their squad is being held together by prayers and bubblegum at the moment. I think 4-5 1st team players out, and with their financial/ownership situation they're also screwed in the transfer market. I fully understand why they're asking 80 mil for Branthwaite. Yes every team has to deal with injuries but in Evertons case it's magnified. I think Dyche is effectively bringing a plastic spoon to a gunfight. And that's not his fault. Everton fans I've read are asking for Moyes back. And I think why do you want to put a club legend through that? As for Tottenham Odobert on the right, Sonny on the left Solanke up top. I'm sorry but Johnson needs to have a seat. Kulus future lies centrally as I've stated previously. When Biss is one of the best performers on the pitch, the team will win a LOT. It's just that consistency
It's a weakened Everton team ๐.
The usual spurs fans will get excited with wins against bottom teams. Everton is awful.
Your getting carried away, one result doesn't mean anything and go loose to Newcastle
I thought Leicester was bad, but Everton is the worst. 7 conceded 0 scored in 2 games. Already prime candidates for relegation. The test is Newcastle away. So, let's not get too excited.
Odebert opened up the whole offense ….just need to get a good RW now …
The negativity in this comment section is horrendous. what will they say when we batter newcastle next week. "oh we started well last season and look what happened."
were going to do something big this season. ive been saying it for weeks.
@ Sonny you are the first person Iโve heard saying theyโre happy with the window !!! Itโs the only way we can compete and its the most fun thing to watch
@ Sonny question ๐โโ๏ธ
Can we or should we change the starting 11?
Kulusevski was decent today
Everton are struggling but spurs still have to get it done. Spurs had plenty of excuses with Solanke out, Bissouma in some doubt, Kulu and Johnson being backed when most would drop them, no time to be Odobert to bed in, madders still getting back to his best and so many knocks during the game. Ange showed guts and the team were ruthless both forward and defence with the magical clean sheet. A perfect result from what was on offer. Shows a lot of versatility in the line up. Team definitely look stronger. Gives the team and fans what they needed ahead of the next 3 games when a lot will be understood about how far they have to go. COYS
Im a big fan of your channel sonny , but all this was such waffle , do we need a 6 ? YES we do . have you forgotten bissouma has play well 12 times in 3 seasons !? . You are happy with the window ??? Sorry we have added 1 player that starts in the 11 . 1 player and you're happy ๐๐ . We was 20 plus points behind the top two and you are happy to add 1 player that starts !? … ange proved everyone wrong ? If we would have lost to everton at home after they held 3 vs brighton then serious questions need to be asked . Everton are by far one of the worst teams in the league and atleast 15 other teams will beat them at home .
