  1. I’m sometimes surprised by how ignorant fans can be about soccer tactics. When a highly regarded player performs poorly, it often stems from tactical issues. Son was deployed as a winger far from the goal to draw defenders away, which is not how he should be used. Johnson’s strength is his speed, but we lose attacking tempo with our slow build-up play. Our defenders, especially the full-backs, end up taking as many shots as the forwards and get exhausted in defense. Ultimately, it’s a tactical problem.

  2. I dont think the inverted fullbacks works. Spurs needed more than just Solanke in between 5 defenders, Players like Son/Werner/Kulu need to be in the box, drifting in for these chances. Porro and Udogie stay as wide wing backs.

  3. It's okay sonny next game you will score goal no matter whatever orher says sonny is legend legend i always support you 🐐🫶🤍❤️

  4. Son , if u “really really” wanna win , cut inside and go for the top corner . Why are u refusing to use your signature move . So its best for u to do a self reflection whether do u still have it ? or perhaps its time to hang up your boots after this season .

  5. Sad seeing my favourite player stink out the place, still has more talent in his left toe than Bj and Werner tho. But please man take a shot, looking like youve lost all confidence.

  6. Son can't be a captain. He's not vocal enough. The team needed a captain to motivate the players for the win. None of the players really wanted to win. No risk takers. Kulu was the prime example of really going for the win but Ange didn't start him.

  7. Ange let's face it ,you,ve got problems all over the park ,you your not happy with the players ,and it seems some players could give more ,the big 2nd half switch off ,not a good situation ,if you can,t turn it around by amas ,don't hang around😢

  8. Same old thing year after year. How desperate are we for new owners new ideas and a new direction. Fucking groundhog day. So frustrating. Sell up levy enic!

  9. At half time – Ange should have made changes.
Solanke and Johnson should have been taken off, and Richarlison and Kulusevski brought on. It would have changed the dynamics of the whole game! 😊😕😎

  10. Not even a Spurs fan but I don't understand why they'd go out to buy a striker when they have arguably one of the best finishers in the game in Son. He's up there, if not better than Haaland in terms of shot conversion rate when he plays as a striker. What a waste of talent.

  11. Not going to cover it in roses. Sonny I love you but you stank.. I don’t know what’s going on but when your touch is poor. You can’t pass a player and you pull up in space at the edge of the box perfect for your right foot into the top corner and instead you revers to destiny out wide??? That’s not you bro.Vicario Your doing to much. Stay in your goal and your reaction to Bergvall mistake was not what the kid needed to remember about his debut. Over reaction that caused more tension in the team. Keep that 💩 in the changing room.

  12. Maddison wasted heaps full of chances and Romero also poor miss marking Vardy… Son also couldnt get any shot off being used as a decoy and bait to draw the defence. He should be used more for the final attack and not being used as a bait to aid defenders score goals..

  13. The negative aspects of the performance are certainly a cause for concern, but there are several positives to take from it too. My biggest concern is how much we faded in the second half and couldn't maintain our intensity. That, for me is the root cause of the lost points. I also think that the two youngsters were looking rather overawed by the occasion and that it wasn't realistically in Ange's plans to use them that much in this game. It was obvious to me that Solanke hasn't bedded into the system yet, but others such as Udogie, Son and Johnson certainly underperformed in rather alarming fashion. As we saw in the first half, when the system works, it DOES work, but at the same time it is dependent on everybody performing to the same level. That didn't happen in that second half. The bollocking Vicario gave to Bergvall was well-deserved and I was glad to see it. This young man has to learn very quickly that the PL is a very different animal to the one he has been playing in up until now. If he wants minutes, he has to earn them. I just hope it doesn't break his confidence, because he did show some flashes, even if not enough. By the same token, if Johnson doesn't buck his ideas up he will find himself replaced very quickly by Odebert. And nobody is talking about Sarr. Great engine but really not much else. No end product at all. I really Don't understand the persistence with him. Son has lost his mojo, but who else is there? Werner? The subs were ok overall, but the structure was all wrong. Why Werner was on the right is beyond me. I'd have preferred him on the left, Kulu on the right and Richy with Solanke down the middle. But it wasn't to be. First game away to a promoted side and we didn't lose, but credit to Cooper, he got his team adjusted in the second half and levelled the playing field. Fair play to him, but much of it was our own doing, as usual. I think Ange has more work to do on our mentality than our tactics. The draw, though disappointing and much of our own doing, is not season defining. As players bed in more, we will improve.

  14. This is just the beginning for Spurs, there is an opportunity for Gray, Maddison, Solanke and Johnson to build a connection for Spurs that could take them into England selection together.

  15. Son is past it for the PL, but is still worth a lot to Levi for selling merch to Asia and filling a lot of seats with Asian Tourists supporting Son. FACT.

  16. This for Son think you need to improve when the ball gets the wind take the ball with your man down the line and when he cutting, he needs to shoot what if he’s open, he always intended to pass to Madison. That’s a mistake when he cut in he had a chance with his right foot. That’s what he’s should shoot in the first halfand the third thing is second half his first touch he need to improve his first touch. He was in the box. The ball was five y’all away from him he had three chance to improve. Otherwise Son is not good anymore.

  17. Leicester fan here. Spurs dominated in the first half and we should have been out of the game but in the second half Leicester took the initiative and were the better team for the second half and stuck with it and we will take the draw all day

  18. Son is the best finisher in the Premier League and the top scorer for Tottenham. Why can’t Ange let him play a free role? Because Son, Udogie, and Porro’s positions often overlap, and he always stays on the left sideline, so he doesn’t get many chances to score goals. Ange, he is not smart enough.!!

  19. He doesn't defend. Now he's the captain, he expects the other players to defend hard, but given his record, why should they. Putting him as captain ensures Spurs will have another Spursy season. Been saying for 6 years he's overrated. Spurs fans are starting to see the truth finally. He was pumped up by British media and Spurs owners to make money from Asians. Even given the Puskas award for best goal when his goal wasn't the best. The powerful want to promote an Asian player.

  20. He brought it upon himself. Why did he re-contract with Spurs? Why does he waste all his career and prime time in the shitty team? He definitely deserves this. It's all his fault. 😂😂😂

  21. I really think that the burden of Captaincy should be taken off Son, and past to Romero. (It might help steady Romero’s play and give Tottenham Hotspur a voice from the back of the pitch!)
All Son did was pass the ball backwards, it seemed like he didn’t have the stamina to take on defenders and run into the box and get the ball to Solanke! 😕😞😂😎
