      I think De Ligt walks straight into our first team and improves it. I'm very excited to see us play this season. We still need to get that DM in, but if we do, I'll agree we should be pushing for 3rd.

      The myth is with the fans some say they are good some say nay perhaps we should have a buying and selling times for fans. I think they would object to going down to Arsenal or if they were relegated and had to go to plymouth. maybe the ones exchanged with Liverpool would be a laugh. All kidding aside i would like a stronger backing for players who didn`t have a good game given a bit of support. It is bad enough when you have a bad game and you know it you know you are in for a flogging and when you are a little wobbly and your needing some support to get in there and it is not there its hard. So what we have been given new players and what we have been left lets support them come what may. Perhaps it will help them.

      It’s a good signing no doubt about it. Of course the haters are spreading lies and as usual trying to discredit what the club does. I have a good feeling we will finish in the top 3

      Media is getting increasingly ridiculous over this transfer…
      At this point I have already seen a list of most expensive defenders, which had de Ligt mentioned thrice (Ajax to Juve, Juve to Bayern and Bayern to United), but Gvardiol to City was nowhere to be seen there, because it would mean that there was a defender more costly than Harry Maguire.
      And there was also another dig, that de Ligt is now the most expensive defender in history, because… they summed up all transfer fees for him. Of course, de Ligt on the graphic is in United shirt.
      I really want United to click this season – just to see all those pundits fuming…

      De Ligt = Great signing! I am imagining, and more importantly BELIEVING we will win the title VERY soon (which everyone reading this should truely do, and just watch it happen…)

      Upamecano makes Maguire look like a flawless defender btw… 😂

      This right here is why youtube pundits are better than mainstream media. Even Paul Scholes dissed Mattijs De Ligt in that Overlap episode. I mean c'mon…for them only english players matter…people should start looking outside the island too…there's plenty of good football players out there..

      The state of pundits on this one is embarrassing. Tells you all you need to know, deliberately inflammatory, no actual knowledge, making it up as they go and just trying to spark reactions. It's everything I hate about the football media machine, and why I'd much rather watch YOU.

      The entire football world has trolled United since Sir Alex left the helm and areas excited as us United fans when we try to sign someone just too laugh at us for flipping it or paying 5 times the amount we did. Now that this season we have had the most successful transfer windows, they want to hate and criticize to kill the vibes coz they KNOW we killed the market this season. Being a part of the club/or it's fanbase is real hard work mate, cheers

      De Ligt has had a different manager every year since 2016. 8 different managers in 8 seasons.
      Based on this history, Ten Hag might not survive. Everyone say De Ligt was a leader, yet he confessed overwhelmed by Juve and Bayern spotlight. Was making so many mistakes in his 1st Juve season. Juve and Bayern was winning titles regularly. Both stopped in his 2nd season.

      De ligt for that money is a steal. Won't be long before people start changing their tune. Always negatives with Utd. Same with Martinez. He was to small .wasn't quick enough. Worried about his Physical presence. Don't hear that now. In fact you hear he's one of the best CBs in Europe quite often.

      DeLigt is weak in forward play and recovery pace., defensively he is really good though. I'm glad we got him, but now we have plenty of players we need to offload, because they bloat our wage bill.
      These old woodward contracts are limiting Sir Jim's options, but I'm still impressed how they work with the hand they got dealt
