It was a quality display from the 4-in-a-row champions Man City on the opening weekend of the 24/25 Premier League, as they came away with a 2-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

On his 100th game for City, Erling Haaland opened the scoring with an excellent finish in the 18th minute, before Kovacic made it 2-0 with a powerful strike 10 minutes before the end.

Perfect start for Man City in the Premier League, as the begin their chase for a potential history making fifth PL title in a row.
