So defence was very sloppy imo today, if their attack was sharper they could have had 5 or 6. That kafaji we have signed is some player she’ll defo be competing for first team. Russo is gunna have a hell of a season if she’s this sharp already

Great to see the “kids” getting proper game time. We were very scrappy at times but happy to see fighting spirit, especially towards the end there.
Haven’t seen Kafaji properly in the past, but have to say today she looks very promising. Good control of the ball and nice passing.
Btw, what’s the story with the pitch? Is it normal to be that bad? I was genuinely worried for any injuries

I kinda expected them to hand out the silver plate thing Kang and Slot were pictured with at the beginning as a prize, but I guess not

Very much felt like a preseason game but honestly I’m ok with that. The level and style of opponent was good for what we need to prepare for UWCL and while they were also weakened I’m ngl I expected a draw so I’m actually really happy with a win. There were some very good moments from the players especially the new/young ones and you love to see it.
