How can you justify giving Bruno a 4. We don’t score the winner without his brilliance in the build up, created and was getting on the end of heaps
It’s amazing what we as fans get used to with some players .. I was worried about Bassaka leaving but in just 90 mins I saw the difference .. now I want to sell half the team 😂😂😂
Fernandes run for the goal would take him out of the 4 zone for me. Much like Garnacho's assist.
You could literally see Mainoo getting tired! 😂😂 bless him. We have to remember he’s just turned 19. The same for Garnacho

Bruno's turn to beat the guy in the build up to ZZs goal was vital, and even though he missed a couple of big chances those runs were pretty solid , so I think 4/10 a little bit harsh
1.Onana cant pass the ball, dont see it, too slow, had nothing to do all game, passes straight out too touch again -5
2. Dalot – steady nothing spectacular, 6
3.Maguire – passing forward is issue, not quick enough but aside from that he was excellent and i can see a place for him in rhe squad -7
4. Martinez – was excellent, bossed the game, shows teal intelligence dealing with traore, a real team leader -8
5. Mazro – class peefeormance, just looked the part -8
6 Rashford – did nothing in the game, i didnt see him give united anything really -5
7. Bruno – wasnt his best performance, position hifher up the pitch doesnt suit his game and it showed today, stilll started the pass that led to the goal, missed two chances he'd normally put away, -7
8. Mount – like his work rate and energy, had a couple of chances he was unlucky with. its weird, im not sure where he fits into the team yet. -6
9. Casermeiro – best perfomance in a long time for United, he looks so much lesner and of he plays once a week he'll give that level i rhink. We burned him out thst first season playing so much. Need to use him more wisely -8
10. Amad, loce this player but he has little impact on thr game, he didnt get into the box with the ball nearly enough but good game experience – 5
11. Zirksee – interchange of play and link up was excellent, goal was excellent. -9
12. Garnacho – very decent when he came on, allowed to miss the sitter , everyone has a brain fart once in a while, managing jim so we dont burn him out is key this year , set up the goal – 7
13. ETH – not a fan of mount and bruno in the same team, he needs to make a choice, Solid performance but not playing a striker in the team at home to Fulham is desperate really. I know we have injuries but we did have a striker on the bench. + 5
You score on Maguire is really off, he saved our ass twice. The best defender on the field despite the passing issues.
maguire was better than martinez. kobie was a 6. bruno a 4…. this guy has cte from getting hit.
Why does everyone live up the backside of Rashford – if he wasn't an English youth product people would be talking about him in the same breath as Djemba Djemba and Bebe!! Lacks football intelligence by doing the same things continuously for the last 6 years and getting the same result and not changing his game to improve. What i see is someone who is not pro-actively engaged in the game and always seems REACTIVE and hence many times he loses of concentration and appears half asleep. EVERY game i see someone trying to dribble and losing the ball, he can't head, his passing is terrible, doesn't track back and i do wonder if he would be better off working in McDonalds earning £300/week rather than the criminally insane figure of 300k+/week. Whoever gave him that salary needs to be locked up in a mental asylum. Wake up and stop pussy footing around this horrendously bad player. I have been following United since Frank O'Farrel days and i have never known a player with such a bad attitude or body language.Comes across entitled which is the signal to get rid. I would sell him for a packet of Walkers. You gave him a 5/10 and Bruno 4/10 and i wonder if you were watching the same game. Bruno didn't have his best game and maybe a 5/10 would be more accurate as he did work his socks off to get in a scoring position on a few occasions which was more than sleepy Rashford. Rashford was at best a 2/10 and ETH seems blind sided by him. I would have hooked him off after 10 minutes when he kept losing the ball.
ffs I cannot understand how a supporter would find the match that negative. Some people need to look internally at their own life and see how much their own misery plays a factor in how they perceive things.
I liked Mounts performance tbh. I think it was clear he kinda of lacked that match sharpness but he did certain things that I was impressed by and felt that not many other players in our team do.
I think if you watched it back you'd change your opinion on Brunos performance, everything good we did went through him 7/8 out of 10 for me

Casemiro, Rashford, Mainoo should of been subbed just after or before the 70th min because there legs looked a bit gone. Other than that I thought we played really well and just unlucky scoring earlier!. But around the 70th min we looked a bit open and we didn't have to much composure on/with the ball and a bit wasteful!
Agree ste it was a good game, reduced shots on our goal, creating more chances, noticed a few times that chaos from last season started coming into the game but just as quickly slowed it down and got it back under control. Big thing I noticed there was a clear style visible. Lots to improve but a W and decent performance good day at the office.
Man if we get Ugarte in this team I may just tear up from this transfer window
Finally someone giving Casemiro his flowers. He got a lot of unwarranted stick from the fans and media last season. People forget how class he is but the tactics last season left him exposed in the stupid one man midfield he was playing having to do everything in midfield.
Compare this 1-0 with the 1-0 against wolves on opening day last season. It’s night and day we played so much better seemed to press as a unit. Still got overran in midfield a couple of times but we know we need a dm impressed with workrate of rashford and a couple of glimpses of what he can do and should have had an assist

I think Mount still has to improve and maybe he still has to adapt to the Erik's system, but he wasnt bad yesterday. He was very good at press and offers control on the ball. We really felt that lack when he went off the pitch.
He hasnt played a lot since he arrived so if we give him time i think he will deliver as an 8 or 10 option
Very harsh on Bruno, I think he was better than mount and rashford and probably better than Amad too, we saw alot more from amad in pre-season so it was a disappointing game from him. Think Bruno deserved 6+/10 at least just for his creating and getting in position to get those shots even if he didnt score.
I thought he was quite poor especially with passing, however im surprised Zirkzee got the MAN of the match
What made Mazraoui more impressive is that he only started training on Monday with us
Bruno was ok in the build up but missed 2 big chance so 6 is probably correct. Garnacho missed a sitter so 6 for him as well.

Great vid as usual. Giving Bruno a 4 a bit harsh, I’d say a 6 because he was still an overall +ive in the game. Really impressed with Mazraoui decision making and reading of the game. Decent game by EtH but yh wouldn’t credit the subs to him that much – saw some different patterns compared to last szn so just need to build on that.

Bit harsh mate. For me, Maguire was 7, Bruno a 6, Rashford a 6, maybe 7. Mate 4 for Bruno is bat shit crazy. Rashford looked lively, made some unselfish passes, Garnacho should have scored the one that Rashford sent his was.

Thought Maguire had a pretty good game. Bizarrely I seen him making a right wing run and also appeared in their penalty area in plenty of space during one move.

I thought Mount was good. If you want to judge him on goals and assists then fair enough but he was the real engine of the team while he was on the pitch, pushing the intensity and pressing hard. We need more of that in our team.
The game was better than last season but still under par for me Steve. Amad for me is a combination of hard worker and class act. Loses very few balls especially when he gets the ball in tight positions. I also think Mount was worth an extra point with his enthusiasm and effort. In all liked this idea Steve. Bricking it awaiting for your rating for Scott as I like the guy.Well done mate.

Ste I agree mostly with your ratings but Bruno’s role in the goal should not be understated and Maguire was outstanding, holding his ground and stopping that counter attack was fantastic. If Saliba or VVD did that the media would be raving! A very solid start !
Can't believe you rated Licha higher than Maguire. Maguire was arguably the best defender on the pitch. Unfair. And your rating of Dalot is wrong too. He was at least a 7. Defended well and got forward well when he could. Shocking
Personally I think Casemiro was a liability (especially when Fulham where better in the 1st 20 ish minutes). He gave the ball away on the edge of our box several times (once early and once late on) and its only because Fulham arent that potent that we didnt concede . Yes he was in the right place 2 or 3 times in their box….but to not get one of those on target….IF that is Casemiro at his best then we definitely need to get shot ASAP….even if we lose the heading inside the opposition box…just to get a more reliable player in the centre to partner Mainoo would be a blessing …..none of our forwards really did much (apart from JZ – who was great coming off the bench….am sure he will get even better once he gets used to the team and individual players) – I love Bruno but fair to say last night wasnt anywhere close to his best game but hey ho
4 /10 for bruno did he kick your dog or something thats well harsh he was a fee milimiters off of scoring two goals
Really like the idea of having the match ratings a day after Matchday where emotions aren’t running as high. Great presentation fair ratings, a bit too generous but fair criticism where it matters.

that clean sheet felt so good, this was a 3-0 game, bruno missed his easiest chance and i hope garnacho remembers that fluff forever 😂, that was criminal. but other than that that was a 3-0 game so gg's and we move on
