If Ben White makes himself available to play for England ,it will then be up to the England selectors to play or not play him and Rory Jennings is completely Irelivent. As are his opinions. Ben is not the first player to not make himself Available to play for his Country and he won't be the last.

Regarding a footballer is not the slightest bit interested in football – it applies or occurs in other sectors.
I am fully aware from 'the horse's mouth' that their are pilots and including locals (I.e. Nationals) from Emirates Airlines in Dubai who see their pilot's role as ''just a job'', for a salary.
One instance of a 1st officer on radio duty was told by ATC to follow the A -3-30, on taxying, he apparently looked at the Captain and said which one is the A-3-30?
He didn't even recognise aircraft types………..
