Dani Olmo has been a class player for years. A person this talented should easily be made effective by a team like Barcelona regardless of who else is on the team.

yeah you right people will have to leave. but first, it is important to note that olmo can play in many positions like Iniesta, he can excel as a central midfielder, an attacking midfielder, a winger, a false 9. He would connect really well with Levy. He is very special. According to rumours, Pablo Torre will leave. But I think, they should sell more players, like Fati, Roque and Ferran Torres. But I would defo fight hard to keep Fermin. Anyway, these guys have loads of players to sell, such as Lenglet and potentially Araujo and Inigo Martinez.

Barcelona needed Dani Olmo more than they needed Nico Williams. Attack will be unpredictable every match with so many options and possible formations due to having Dani in the team. Great signing.

I hope they finally sell Ferran and wouldn't mind the sale of Raphinha either. Gundogan will be 34 and if he won't be sold this summer, I find it unlikely his contract will be renewed next year.

Olmo is a good signing his ability to maneuver in tight spaces is incredible,his finishing is incredible and most importantly his passion for the club is incredible.Hansi is not gonna use pure wingers the fullbacks provide the width,so olmo is perfect for that position in the half space for barca.We are packed in that position but thats good because that means hansi has a lot of options up front with fermin,olmo,pedri,gundo and raph its gonna benefit us this season.
If hansi believes that casado and bernal can cover up the 6 i trust him.They were very good in preseason,especially casado with his constant movement trying to get the ball and make things happen in attack,im not saying bernal wasnt good but he has some things to work on like his decision making.I believe that if they get there chances they could be very good under flick.

Signing 60m+ players haven’t really favoured us over the years. Let’s just pray we don’t regret this decision too I’m just tired of being laughed at by my friends whenever we talk about football especially when I’m the only Barca fan in a Madrid filled friend group

Nico Williams deal is not off the table. It depends on what the player wants, and as of today, 11/8/24, he still has said not a word. Which leads me to believe, his move to Barcelona might very well still happen.
Also, Olmo is going to play AMC within Flick's team. Ansu Fati, Ferran, and Raphinha don't play there. Pablo Torre probably will be loaned out again. Gundogan is going on to 33 years old and not getting any younger, and, finally, Pedri's repeated streak of injuries is a very serious concern. and he can play in the line of two midfielders instead of AMC, or out on the wings anyway. Realistically for Flick's AMC position Barcelona had just Pedri and Gundogan, which is not enough at the time of facing a long season with as many matches as Barcelona is going to play. So I strongly disagree with your assessment Barcelona didn't need a player there.
And Fermin is going nowhere. He's just had an extended, improved contract, offered by Barcelona. Again he'll have plenty of chances during the season, the same he had last season because Barcelona simply plays too many matches in a single season.
/edit: The DM Debate. Flick himself has stopped, for now, any Barcelona move towards that position. because of two names rising from La Masia. Casado and Bernal. Seems Flick, upon seeing them in training (and during the US tour) was so impressed with them he sees no need to reinforce the position anymore. Reportedly he believes that bringing someone from outside when having such youth talent coming up from the youth teams is a waste. Barcelona was well in the race for Mikel Merino (and for Zubimendi, and Onana, and Kimmich, and others) until Flick called a stop to it. I can't say if they are THAT good, as I haven't seen almost any Barcelona B matches, but in the US tour they surely played really well, and it seems that everyone in the club knows they are the real deal indeed, so maybe Flick is onto something.
BTW Pau Prim also plays DM, and by all accounts, it's a very good prospect aswell…
Whatever the case, it's highly unlikely Barcelona will sign anyone in the DM position this year, and that's the main reason.

Where most Spanish people let's be honest unfortunately don't even speak great English, Olmo speaks fluent Croatian with an an accent at the level of a Croatian born abroad. And as a teenager moving to a country smaller than some of the cities in his home country. Talks about the way he looked at the opportunity and what kind of a person he is. Olmo is a great and intelligent guy and I think it says a lot about him how much he is and forever will be beloved in Croatia, more than many local players ever will.
