  1. No we challenged last year with havertz and Jesus I think defensively the team is outstanding and that will mean that we don’t need a super clinical striker as we will generate most chances in a match

  2. Arsenal system doesn’t require a centre forward. It’s interchangeable to a degree. The focus is on the wide players scoring. The striker is dead long live the striker…..

  3. ‘Like a new signing’ except he not. Such a cliche. Arsenal doesn’t have any problem with defensive options. It going forward is the issue and getting the required goals.

  4. This out & out Striker would also take away from our game. It’s not he will just add 20 goals, it’s not that simple. Saka Odegard would score less. Arteta philosophy loves duels. Haaland does none of that.

  5. Calafori won’t be enough to close the gap on City. A new midfielder and a striker will be enough. Historically Arsenal are always stubborn when comes to signing players. So I am not surprise.

  6. we need that clinical striker…… we spent 80% of the game against Lyon in front of their goal and yet, we only scored from set pieces….. that won't fly against top sides

  7. Really don't understand why these guys talk abt Ivan Tony to Arsenal. I really think Arteta has 0 interest in Ivan Tony. And don't believe that he will fit into this Arsenal team and Arteta's style of play. I truly believe he will be a downgrade. I am sure Arsenal are going to come up with some surprise option if they plan to sign a striker, certainly not Ivan Tony.

  8. Arsenal woukd definitely need a striker. Especially if Eddie leaves. Because if Kai gets injured, then Jesus with the added workload on his legs. He could get injured too. Then we would be extremely short.

  9. To win something big, they should have big players, poor saka, looking down when running martinelli, overplayed Rice, inefficiënt trossard, lazy kai, overinjured timber and kahiro, they wil play for goal as top 6. When you want to play to win , they should go for Matteta, Mitoma, chiesa.

  10. I think yesterdays game against the mighty Lyon reserves proved that even with Arteta resting Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Jesus and Havertz that on our day we can beat anyone with the firepower that we now have in our squad without having to buy another striker
    Trust the Process !

  11. 🥱
Havertz has 15 league goals/assists in 13 games as striker for Arsenal. I’m fully aware football doesn’t work in theoreticals but that translates 43 g/a in 38 league games. Watkins has 32 last season and Haaland had the same. It’s also Havertz’s first season at Arsenal and spent the majority playing in midfield. He’s absolutely good enough to start up top, we just need Martinelli and Jesus to contribute more than a combined 19 g/a

  12. They need a striker or their best players to remain fit to win it. Don’t forget Arsenal’s depth in quality isn’t the best outside of defence.. an injury to Rice, Odegard or Saka would impact them a lot in big games

  13. Arsenal has a striker. Eddie Nketiah. Arteta refuses to play thim. That said, Arsenal needs a different type of striker. A Giroud or Peter Crouch type. A big and strong target man who is good with the ball at his feet.
