  1. Why aren't they discussing why Gregg and his team keep picking players that aren't playing for their teams plus aren't inform? Matt Turner is not the best keeper the US has to offer and neither is Horvath. If you aren't performing at a high level every game for your club team then how do you expect the same player will performing for country? Gregg needs to go and hire a manager that has the pedigree and the balls to shake up the team coz they have become complacent.

  2. Yo Brian. Please listen to me. Or jimmy and Charlie but they see ggg for what he is. You can’t say he is a good coach because he works hard. Let me give you an example. I could work really hard at being a chef and come up with all these ideas of potential marinades and spices, but I leave the marinade out it will go bad, or if I preheat the oven 50 degrees lower it wont taste right, or I leave the chicken in two long bc I’m too busy telling my chicken the score of the other food I’m cooking is 1-1!!!!!!!! Let’s be real here. What is happening to the United States of America’s head men’s soccer coach postion. The women’s team went out and hired the best coach in the world after they fired a coach who it was time to move on from. And that coach was terrific for a good period of time. Stop saying he’s good. It’s ok if we made a mistake, and by we I mean ussf. Let’s please move on and get off of this weird place where people who understand what they’re watching and realize Gregg isn’t great at it are being convinced we should think he’s done a good with the tools at his disposal.

  3. Greg has had years to get us going offensively and hasn’t and Brian thinks he can still figure it out… it’s delusional thank god he’s not making decisions anymore but people thinking just like him are

  4. I know you guys are Pepi apologists. Can we talk about how bad he was at Copa America? The drop-off from Flo to Pepi was dramatic and palpable in every game. Reyna looked way worse than he was against Uruguay because Pepi was just not available for quick connections and moving through the defense. All his good chances against Bolivia came because they have no defense, and he failed to convert even one. He only got himself into position one other time the whole tournament, and he botched the finish because he misjudged the ball in and overran it.

  5. I like Charlie Davies' idea, which no one picked up on, about Panama's Thomas Christiansen. He'd likely be affordable and clearly can get a team to punch above its weight.

  6. Preach it Charlie! YES, too many stumbles and failures. You move on! You look to WC 2026. Yes Charlie call Jimmy Gregg. LOL

  7. The players have been getting somewhat of a free pass. They need some heat too. Some of them wanted Berhalter too! This is what it turned into.

  8. Emma Hayes is already getting paid more than any other female coach. That should be good enough. Get the right coach for the USMNT.

  9. McBride sounds like a youth pastor trying to get kids to sign up for youth camp! Except in this case, he's trying to convince us that Gregg is a "good" coach and he has nothing to do with the failure that is USMNT!

  10. For the last 6 years, the bar was set at mediocrity. Outside of Ggg's few "signature wins," in concacaf (and signature draw with england), it's hard to point at any stretch of his tenure that the us ever attained even mediocre status. At least we beat mexico, right?

  11. They aren't going to do anything. USSF wants a stooge not a coach. Derphalter will be in the technical area for the three games we'll play in the '26 WC.

  12. It’s a terrible take for Brian to say that they shouldn’t look at Kochen because other guys have been there longer. This ain’t the post office. Put the guy in you think will help you. Period. The USMNT is playing other players that aren’t playing with their clubs on a regular basis. Or who aren’t playing at all. Including goalkeeper. Is Kochen better or not? Then play him. “Sorry, we aren’t playing Michael Jordan because Quintin Dailey has been here and it’s his time.”

  13. Why isn’t anyone talking about the caveat that means whatever you pay the mens coach you have to pay the womens? Its why the US isn’t or can’t attract a top tier coach. Moyes is a good shout tbf. Far more realistic and would probably fit within the budget. He’s a good coach with a lot of experience.

  14. The system does not work. Not woth these players. Not in mls. Not in sweden. Not with ggg. 3 poor chances in a must win game. Awful. Awful against Columbia. Barely good enough against Jamaica. 2 years is more than enough time to fix this. Get him out now. Thanks.

  15. it is so awkward having McBride on when before the Copa he was all over the media saying Greg was the best coach for the Usmnt

  16. This whole tourney and the run in we’re absolute failures and that just further underlined why the USSF deserves all the blame for where we are at. Giving the keys back to Gregg after such a mediocre period as manager is shameful.

  17. If Crocker rehired Berhalter because he thought he was the best option available, or anyone else at USSF, they should be shown the door as well. Anyone at USSF that narrowed the coaching search because they’re setting the pay level based off womens managers salary, axed. If we’re shafting the mens team of a competent manager to virtue signal, then the people making that decision aren’t qualified to be running a lemonade stand.

  19. FIRE GREGG BERTHALTER NOW AND HIRE A SUCCESSFUL FOREIGN COACH TO LEAD US THROUGH THE 2026 WORLD CUP! HE IS A HORRIBLE COACH AND IT'S PUNDITS LIKE YOU ALL THAT HAVE BEEN DEFENDING HIM WHEN HE HAS COME UP SHORT SO MANY TIMES!

  20. USSF AND USMNT ARE A DEBOCAL AND A MESS! THEY ALL SHOULD BE REPLACED, BUT THE NEPOTISM IN SOCCER IN THE U.S. IS ASTONISHING, AND THE DECISION-MAKING IS HORRIBLE! FANS ARE GOING TO LEAVE IF ACTION ISN'T DONE ON EVERY LEVEL.

  21. To Mr Crocker,
With all due respect to you, and with the greatest of pleas…PLEASE….
    Fire Coach Berhalter.

  22. what can we expect from Matt Crocker and the USSF board? Crocker's last "extensive review and world wide search" led to nearly unanimous board approval for Gregg's rehire. this is who they are. unless they pleasantly surprise us we have got to boycott USSF, which includes boycotting USSF sponsors
