      Nah man, FSG are a huge problem for us. How many league titles have we missed out on because we just didn’t have that final player? How many times have we missed out because we were going through an injury crisis?

      I do not care who really who we sign, I just want us to sign players I trust Edward’s and Hughes. I do not trust FSG whatsoever

      He wasn't told to go to united Madrid didn't want to pay united showed real interest pushed hard for him I don't think he choose united over Madrid like how fans are saying but he choose united because of the vision and willingness united showed to sign if Liverpool really wanted to sign they could've done same

      Liverpool do need to sign some players specially in midfield but they do have a good squad so no need to panic too much it's like klopp said when transfer window comes don't forget how good these young players coming through are

      Stagnation is my only consistent criticism of Liverpool. My favorite type of signings are under 40mil that are just smart. Mac Allister is the perfect example and it was done early. Spending crazy money does not equal success. A smart transfer strategy and great coaching does. However, when there are clear and obvious holes in the squad like a DM, RW, or left-sided CB, I get very frustrated when those don't get properly addressed in the window. Proactive movements vs reactive is a huge difference. Too often we have been midseason with these holes in the squad now causing serious issues in the final product on the field (20/21 with CB's and 22/23 with midfielders). I just hope under this new regime we go back to the 2017-2019 type of transfer strategy. It was perfect.

      I know Arne has to analyze the squad and see how they play and I know the Euros/Copa didn't help. But, players should have been identified long before the tournaments started. This is the period where deals should be wrapped up or at least very close so the players can maximize their preseason and get acclimated.

      100% AGREE. People have short memory, FSG have done really well. They have been sensible and they don't go and buy players who doesn't fit. Most players they bought became world class.

      Slot is just a coach. He does not need to be part of any transfer dealings. Assessing the squad is Richard Hughes' job and he should see the obvious gaps that are there.

      Social media Liverpool fans are wild – it's always about shiny new thing and people go crazy about players that 6 months prior they didn't know existed. Likewise, they don't understand that we're not a team owned by a nation state and have to be smart in the transfer market because we have owners that are running the team like a sustainable business, not a vehicle for sportswashing. And even then we STILL spend money, just not on the shiniest new thing – Chelsea do that, how's that working out for them?

      Man, I follow your videos, and appreciate your general content, but, not only you, but the English media have got to stop with the "granted in la liga", an not only that league but overall anything that is not the Premier League, and or British. I mean, most exiting players in the Premier come from outside. This video is about Kubo, a Japanese international who grew with Spanish football. Theres a hint of superiority in those words, which is kind of funny because what makes the premier great is mostly coming from abroad, and has long been so. So, got to relax with this toxic talk. Maybe im just a little pre disposed, coming from euros, and England being the best side in history talk…All things aside, again, appreciate your content and hope it keeps coming…

      Are FSG perfect? No.. but nothing is.

      But I'm 100% comfortable – and happy – with how our club is run, and I KNOW everyone involved – beyond the players – give their very best to make us the best, now AND in the future.

      Relax everyone, FSG is perfectly happy with the current squad and they see no reason why the squad should be strengthened. So we look forward to the new season with the tried and trusted players 😂😂😂

      I don't care too much about new incomings, our squad probably has enough depth to win the league, we nearly did it last year until shit fell apart at the last couple of months. They have more experience now and more understanding of each other. The midfield last season was completely new and they got very close without any obvious leaders other than VVD Arne Slot will have his own interpretations of how the team should line up but paraphrasing a bit here Klopp would not have stepped down if the club wasn't in the right place to handle it. New signings are exciting but I don't really think we need to make many, maybe a DM but Bajcetic should be able to cover endo, and CB/LB is maybe the other area to strengthen.

      This season is largely about how the whole ecosystem copes with the change from KLOPP as the leader to a more collaborative entity. That may not actually be how it worked in reality but that was how it was presented .

      You’re right to a degree Loz fair arguments.
      BUT we also can’t deny that this cautious approach can hurt us in the long run. Waiting to see the full squad in training is not an excuse to delay signings – ultimately it might mean we miss out on players we NEED to succeed. We’ve needed another CB since Matip got hurt. Get it done. We ALL KNOW we need a proper 6. Get it done.
      Honestly embarrassing to hear all the excuses from the higher ups

      YES. 1) The first few Madrid european cups don’t count because it was a different competition. 2) Liverpool and Madrid are total opposites in terms of identity and approach.

      No one's asking fsg to spend like Chelsea. We were asking them to back klopp a little bit more than they did. LFC feel short time and again in cups and leagues where across a league season or tournament a couple more world class players and therefore depth would have led to a couple more wins here and there competing better on 4 fronts each season and therefore more trophies in the long run

They will keep bargain bin hunting and man city real Madrid and others will buy the top players and win everything. This strategy win 1 league every 10 years and fsg are happy with that.       I know I’m a dickhead Madrid fan. But generating ungodly sums of money for a fan owned club is not pedestrian, winning 6 champions leagues in one decade is certainly not pedestrian. I know the difference between Madrid and Barcelona or some other club like Juve, Bayern, United is not as big as we, the fans think, but I’m pretty sure it’s still waaaaaaay bigger that people outside of the fandom give it credit for. Where can you get a club that would make other players put their clubs in hostage situations in most cases just to force a move to Madrid because they think they’re nice and Madrid might give them a call?

      I mean, is the core fanbase sometimes too impossible to please? Yeah. Kinda, but that’s why it’s the most special club out of all. All the best players “tests themselves in Madrid” unless you’re a Barca guy. Only one way to glory.

      Good balanced vid mate. These fsg outers do my head in. Total Muppets, as you say they think football manager is real world. We got THE best profile of coach out there to replace klopp imo, slot WILL do well, we will improve so im not worried about us not buying yet, there's simply not a dm available who fulfills what we need. Yoro was overpriced, he wouldn't have got enough games with us, utd needed him more, hes better than what they have, we already have better. Will he become worldie? Who knows, did de ligt develop? No he hasn't, yoro is the new de Ligt imo, would we buy de ligt? No he ain't good enough to get ahead of konate or quansah. Calafiori wanted a London club, he actually said so. Our uneducated fans need to chill out anf trust in how we do things. I like how we do things, ive been around a long time, brought up on paisley, we've always bought the right players rather than the most expensive. Fsg run our club very well imo. The market isn't swamped with players who take us to next level, manure haven't really improved their team with what they have bought, yoro for varane? Zirksee a bench striker, have they really caught up? No not in my opinion. Relax people.
