When Man City spends say about 59million on a "big profile" Haaland, all them silly fans (and pundits) cry "money, money, money, buying the trophy", and all the nonsense. But Real Madrid spends 100million on a "lesser profile" Tchouaméni and it's not a problem: "money well spent." The bias towards City (and hate for their successes and the juggernaut they have built) is unreal.
Modric is still in his prime, Casemiro looked less outlandish this season and Kroos can’t play game in, game out anymore.
Camavinga, Tchouaméni and Valverde is an extremely physical midfield, but maybe will lack creativity that Modric or Isco used to bring.

Kroos, Modric, Asensio's, benzema(he might renew for 2 more years) contract expires after June 2023. Then nacho, vasquez, hazard, contracts will expire on June 2024. Then Casemiro and Carvajal contracts will expire on June 2025.
I hope after 2024 they have a solid right wing with backup, forward/striker front and backup, then two right back that can replace dani carvajal and toni rudinger. My opinion.. I hope they would scout a versatile and athletic player with strong body for a right and left back. I guess they would get players in Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool or in PSG…. after 2024.
