      Shackleton and the two posh lads before the first pre season game would be a better than expected return.

      Anel to Wolves rumoured. Our team makes no sense. Relegated embarrassingly and with a record number of goals conceded but we’ve since seen our GK go to West Ham, main CB apparently off to Wolves and are in negotiations to sell our DM to Fulham.

      With interest in Millar, Ritchie and rak it looks like we could utilise wingers. I hope we do but just wish we would look into Morgan Whittaker for the right side. Would love:

      £5m for Bogle with only a year left is good on isolation, but it does mean that we need 1 more player (obviously). It’s frustrating we’re doing all of our business so late

      Letting Benie Traore go feels a bit daft, looked promising and a decent option on the wing if we start playing wingers, if not perfect back up option.

      With us needing a right back I feel the most realistic options (excluding 27+ free agents) are:

      Hoever – wolves

      Van Ewijk – cov

      Hume – Sunderland

      Pembele – Sunderland

      Kabore – City (Loan)

      Bradley – Liverpool (Loan)

      In terms of players I’d like us to sign, I think Freddie Woodman/Cooper at GK would be ideal, Ki-Jana Hoever would be a good RB, and would like Jay Stansfield on loan up front.

      Anel can stay and I’d be happy about it, think we all just expected him to go.Souza clearly doesn’t want to be here however so sell him and fund a couple more in the upcoming week or 2 while we wait.

      Alan Nixon says we are interested in bree and cannon, Souza to AC is back on, we have made a move for cooper but atm have failed to meet the £3m pricing and may be unable to complete without a player sale or the take over.

      Players in have been brill but players out… I don’t wanna be negative and I know we are going through a rebuild but it kinda seems like a 1 step forward 2 steps back atm.

      Souza looking likely to go, uncertainty with Anel and now we let Osula go? £15m is a nice chunk of cash that should fund us a bit more til the takeover finalises but We don’t really have the depth. Campbell is starting to feel like a must.

      We have 1 striker atm with it being Brewster of all people. Osula going for medical, Moore took a knock, mcburnie gone, jebbo gone, Bennie gone.

      Hoever is a great player and should be brilliant this season but can’t help but feel we should be looking more for a long term option.

      more twists to come in this Rak-Sakyi loan story im sure, but 7 figures for a loan, is crazy for us – let alone if he can be recalled.

      Even assuming the figure dips if he is recalled, it seems like a crazy use of our very limited funds
