Why did the goalkeeper not punch that ball with a Uruguay attacker bearing in on him? He didn't even say that he should have done so in his postgame press conference. This team just doesn't do the little things. And they all feel like they have job security as long as Gregg is there to accept this kind of output.
Beyond the coach this team desperately needs a GK with feet, a CB with feet, and a dangerous winger to replace Weah.
PAY-FOR-PLAY for a sport that never rewards college scholarships! THAT IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE. I have kids who played club soccer and AAU basketball. Soccer was extremely expensive and the ones that can afford stayed until highschool. In basketball, travel teams get players even from playgrounds, middle schools. Recruiting the very best COZ THE SPORT IS CHEAP!!! And it rewards them better for college easily. Now you see the difference and why will continue to SUCK.

I personally don't think that boycotting the sponsors would helo. On the contrary, it would bring another problem to the U.S. National team development program that is not directly related to the lack of professionalism of the coaching board.
We, as fans, should protest , but not in a way to bring more damage to the National Team and to the sport of soccer/football in the U.S.A. .
We must demand changes but keeping our support to the players, for them to get the proper technical treatment to perform well in the National Team

I learned you shouldn’t start a midfield of a disinterested, overweight player, a player who hasn’t played in 1.5 years, and one who rides pine. Maybe one, but not all three. Perhaps that bench of three regular starters in good leagues who want to prove themselves could help.

I'm not familiar with the coach of the US team, but what I do know…is that the 'US players' that I watched are, simply put, not very good in comparison to most other nations.

I can suggest a replacement: Thomas Christiansen. He'd be affordable, he can get a team to punch above its weight (as he keeps demonstrating against us), and it would be realistic that the USMNT could get him within CONCACAF. Poaching from their neighbors is how Bayern is (usually) successful in Germany.

Alexi has been saying for years that he didn't think that Gregg should continue to be the USA coach. He only said that the Gio scandal shouldn't be the reason for the firing. But I'm just going off what he has continued to say on his podcast every week.
You learnt that you’re not as good as you think you are. You have a poor coach who can’t get the best out of his players. You’re out because you couldn’t beat an average Panama despite being a goal up even with ten men. You should have been able to hold out until half time then make some changes. Uruguay was never going to be easy. The goal might be debatable, but again, you created very few chances. I think you only had one shot on target in a must win game. Berhalter is in charge because he’s relatively cheap and you have to pay the womens coach at least the same which discounts you getting a top tier elite coach, but there are still plenty of other good coaches out there who would do a better job. Moyes and Rogers would be a good shout for example and they wouldn’t completely blow the budget knowing whatever you pay them has to be matched for the womens team coach.

I think we need to admit that we just aren't as "good" as we think we are…and it is GGG but it's also our defense. If we had a Tim Howard caliber goalie…several of these embarrassments would have been averted. We used to have goalies who were locked down starters in the EPL. Nowadays our goalies can't even get playing time in the Championship. That says A LOT about our ability (or inability) to win close games…
